2-0 to Boks methinks. My main interest is how the backs are going to perform and if Rassie unleashes the shackles on Brown and lets him go for it. I have a sneaking suspicion that if the games are tight then the Boks will revert to the yawn filled 10 man version. It will be hard for Brown anyway with the container ship that is DDA blocking the backline canal!!
It will most probably be the 10 man version…..I can’t see Rassie not using his safety first strategy, just doing everything very tight and absolute caution first. In my opinion this is what Ireland is expecting and will lead to the same results as last time…..If the Boks bring a more balanced approach and run more at them, this will catch the Irish off guard and give us the upper hand…..DDA the Container ship : ) classic….he might not be the right man to instigate that move though…..I think Brown is already doing his thing in the fast and slick passes seen by the boks vs Wales on occasion ….I hope we do run more at them and bring some surprises.
If Esterhuizen is in th e starting line-up we will deintely lose the match. Incidentally the slick passing became prominent after De Allende replaced Esterhuize
n who produced virtually nothing when he ws playing on Saturday.
I disagree uncle Mike….Mapimpi,s try early in the second half, shows how fast and good AE can offload….Fassi to….at that stage Da was not on the field yet…..interestingly enough, as soon as CS came onto the field to replace AE, we did not see more Backline moves or slick passes down the line….we did see everything going more tighter in the evidence of Bongi,s try with DDA clinging on bongi,s back like a baby Baboon : )
Brown, like the rest of us, sees that DDA is useless to everyone else in the backline.
He knows DDA can't put people into space...because there is ZERO evidence for it.
He knows that DDA is too slow to be there in support of anyone that makes a break, because...well, he plods.
He also knows that DDA will often piss away clear advantage.
Take the Welsh game. Eben sees Kriel and Mapimpi in a 2 v 1. Even as a lock he is smart enough to draw a defender and then get the ball to Kriel, who makes it looks easy, because it is, with the result that Mapimpi scores.
DDA, in the same position, with two faster backs...well we know what he chose to do.
Anyone with a brain can see the problem. Brown definitely does.

Geez Moolaa dats a bit harsh!

Where adid Brown said anymthing on th e De Allende issuie or even mention it to anybody? Have you got ny prooof of what brown thinks?
Now you reaqpeat your own biased BS and said Brown th inks th e same. These people ah ve more evidence of wh at actually happen in games then you and I have. It is done through a complicated computer system that cost a small fortune. It trace the activities of every player while theya re on the field of play.
I realize that as D e Allend fgetting older there will be a need to replace him - but still think the obvious cjh oice will be Willemse and not th e slow and poor defender and ball losing Esterhuizen.
Mike, you;re one of the few DDa supporters left here.
Dud has destroyed Bok back play for 10 years.
Nonsense...the Bokke backline is no worse off now than in Jean's day...didn't you have the same nonsensical campaign against Jaque Fourie?...another Bok great pet hate?...DdA does dumb things...as does Manie and Faf...even Willie at times..."destroyed Bokback play" is an over dramatic emotional statement born from desperate, petulant horse manure bias...DdA is no superstar, but not nearly as k@k as some on here would sugest...2 RWC medals ...dumb luck....not!
I simply correct media hype. Name one Bok try of consequence ‘created’ by the backline in Dud’s era…vs run in off turnovers or lucky bounces. We have talented runners…no creativity and most culpable is Dud Allende.

As a Kiwi I look forward to this 2 match series.
However I think that the Boks will win both matches.
They will be too good for Ireland.
I don't think Ireland as good as the Boks and in South Africa the Springboks will be to tough.
