Jus give to Kolbe .................or, Marx must join the 'elites' & remain on the field for the duration.

Short memories are rampant in this case. Last week it was Marx whose throw-ins were atrocious - this week it was Mbonambi who failed, badly in that repect. I saw in an article that Erasmus was very criical at what happened and he in a way blamed Nortje for not jumping r mistming his jumping as well.
In an event it remains a combination of facts and the only clear thing was that the Mbonambi throw-ins were inaccurate in the main.
Prior to kicking for the corner the prevvious test I made a laconic comment that the Springboks took September a huge chance to kick to the corner was a gamble - but was wrong because it led to the Wiliams matchwining try. In that case it s Du Toit who caught the ball and maul ensued which was stopped by the AB's. When the ball went loose it was handled by 4 differet players before it was i meter short of the line. The AB's branched out expecting passing to outside players and left about a meter's gap - which Williams used perfectly to score the winning try.
This weekthe corner kck reulting in the Marx try was better since one of he props of the AB's was ellow-carded - leaving the AB's in a weakened defnesive position They were one defender short when Marx broke awayfrom te maul and scored his try.

When Marx throws a bad throw, it looks like a bad throw. Even on days when he does bad throws, the rest are good.
When Bongi throws a bad throw, he just misses his jumpers- and the problem is getting worse. Nortje was not playing at the World Cup, this has been a long-standing problem.

His throw-ins have declined for some time.
While his age should not impact throws, is it worth investing more time in him, given that he turns 34 in four months?
At one stage, Bongi was throwing very well, but at the last World Cup, the lineouts were a shambles after Marx was injured. Deon Fourie was worse, but Bongi was not great.
The Boks struggle to get the rolling maul going because the lineouts have been so poor. Bongi routinely misses his jumper, and it is often messy ball when retention is done.
Marx has never been the best thrower, but when he throws badly - it is just a few of them
When Bongi is throwing badly, he can't hit a barn door.
