So….no light bulbs going off on the Caine red card Dave. No thoughts of Ramos and Mo’unga as you watched Russell blow the match for Scotland?
Probably not it was Borthwick genius that won that match.

Haha!
They're calling him Doctor now.
Doctor Genius.
...my teeth are floating.
Borthwick has a achieved a big fat zero
Rassie the genius has won 2 WC’s, 2 RC’s, a Lions series and had us at number 1 for most of his tenure
Just a reminder Moz, just in case that had slipped your mind
But in your warped way that will all be down to luck and inferior opposition ne?
No, no Dave down to a red card and bottling out by the oppositions’ kickers. This weekend illustrated those two factors perfectly.
Dr Genius Rassie Erasmus….funny stuff. The Donald Trump of rugby.
No, no Moz if you knew your rugby you would know that red card counted for nothing thanks to the Boks having no specialist hooker for 78 min
But I’m guessing that is beyond your rugby comprehension
The best side won as they have done in their last 4 encounters
The side that had 15 men on the field 40 minutes longer won the final….in 20 minutes up a man, lowly Wales scored 2 tries against Ireland who currently have the wood on the Boks….winning 3 out 4 matches against the Boks under Eluckmiss. That despite of 2 to 1 advantage in tests played at home.
Bullshit if you don’t get that having no specialist hooker to dominate the set pieces then there is no hope for you
As for Ireland vs Wales that had fuck all to do with a card and everything to do with Irish complacency and the attempt at a Welsh revival under a new coach
Fact is Ireland were always going light a cracker up their arses and win that game
We’ve had countless examples of sides being a player down and winning as the Lions did a few months back
The Boks won the WC because they were the best side in the competition just like they are the best side right now - all thanks to Rassie
First and foremost a Winning, once of group of World Class Players that gave Erasmus the Foundation to be successful.
One would swear the Boks have never had a great group of players
I mean only had the likes of Percy, Habana, JP, Fourie, Jean, Butch, du Preez, Os, Smit, Bismark, Bakkies, Matfield, Schalk, Juan, Skinstad etc
Kitch had Joubert, Chester, Hendricks, Smal, Mulder, Hennie, Joel, Joost, Balie, Dalton, Andrews, Kobus, Hannes, Kruger, Venter etc
The study into red cards came up with a 2.5 point advantage each 10 minutes or 10 points in a half. Funny how Wales couldn’t score against ‘complacent’ Ireland before the red cards of after the red cards.
Did that study prove that every game played by a side with only 14 men, lost that game????
What did that study say about the fact that the opposition lost their specialist hooker 2 minutes in and therefore could not achiever the set piece dominance they would have, had they had a specialist hooker or the fact the game was played in the rain, conditions not conducive to spreading the ball wide to take advantage of the numerical advantage
Study my arse - that study like stats provides zero context - it’s a load of crap
Poor Mozzietard will never get over all the amazing success Rassie has had. For years this obnoxious nutter denigrated Rassie at every turn just as he did all time great Du Toit.
Be assured the loon will still be claiming Rassie is lucky should the Boks win a third RWC..
Instead of being all bitter and twisted about the RWC win Mozzietard should just let all his BS go, admit he got things hopelessly wrong, admit he should have listened to Beeno who got it right about Rassie from day one and rejoice in the win as practically all South Africans did.
But wee Mozzietar wont do that so expect this never ending drumbeat of drivel to continue.
Making comparisons between Rassie and Trump is indeed a high honour for Rassie.
Luckiest coach ever
Luckiest coach ever has to be Joke White - not only did he have the easiest WC ever where he literally only had to beat England twice - he also had Eddie to save his useless arse
Just look at him now - his Bulls side with a wealth of players can’t even beat the Lions who are made up of a bunch of nobodies
Look at Eluckmiss.
He loses to NZ at RWC2019…..but ends up playing overmatched Japan in QF and toothless Wales in the semi. But we are losing to Wales with 10 minutes left. He finally dumps Kolisi for Francois Louw who makes a crucial unscripted turnover which changes the game.
Then we get the Poms in the final, who have done us the huge favor of removing NZ who beat us in the pools. And then do us another favor of coming on believing they have already won the cup.
The 2019 WC was won without playing one team in the knockouts that was both able and committed.
So more mediocre years and on to WC 2023. Once again we lose in the pools to Ireland….but that pits Ireland against NZ in the QFs. And so once again we marched on to play France. The Frogs started brilliantly but then choked, still we were at risk, but Eluckmiss finally yanked the gutless Libbok and brought in Pollard who he never even selected. Pollard succeeds where Ramos failed and the Boks squeeze through.
Next we play the Poms who have been hopeless to that point. They actually get their act together, are in the lead with 10 minutes to play and Steward stupidly kicks a box kick which goes straight up and falls on their 10 meter line. A knock and Ox destroys their scrum and Pollard once again saves Eluckmiss’ bacon.
Then the ABs in the final they get red, we get yellow for a much more intentional tackle. But still they outgained us by 100 metres…..they have 60% of the possession….we have to make 209 tackles to their 92, showing us who was playing the rugby.
We tackled and we tackled but still it comes down to one point and Pollard, the man Eluckmiss didn’t want, who made all 4 kicks, while Barrett and Mo’unga both missed easier kicks.
Losses in the pools, kind opponents, one point wins, huge contributions from players who were only there because of injuries and no plan to use the ball.
Luckiest coach ever.
Wehe . . . of course Rassie has to be the luckiest coach ever. If his 2 RWC wins were anything other than pure luck then it means Moffie got it completely wrong and has an enormous amount of egg sliding down his stupid fat face . . . and of course, that just can't be the case, can it?
LMAO!
Imagine being stupid enough to compare Joke Whites WC win having to only play England twice to win it versus Rassie’s 2023 where we had to play Scotland, Ireland, France, England and New Zealand to win it
Implying Jokes was harder is nothing short of profound stupidity
Embarrassing
Stupidity along with an inflated ego preventing the self-important old fossil from ever admitting he got anything wrong.
That's why the crimson-faced old fool spends all day every day telling us how Rassie is just lucky and Pieter-Steph is crap.
LMAO!
Lucky to win two WC’s, two RC’s, a Lions series and of course lucky enough to keep his team as the number 1 ranked side in the game for most of his tenure
Man that is some serious luck:)
We are lucky to have the insightfulness of Moz on board
How is he at playing the Lottery ?! ;)

"& we picked 4 number 9s"
There's some irony there. Like I said earlier, if we win this RWC it'll be despite Rassie, not because of him.
The initial selection of 4 scrumhalves, the decision to exclude Pollard from the original squad, the selection of Am to replace Mapimpi when we didn't use him even once, the 7-1 split for the final, the kick-and-hope game plan . . . all stupid shortsighted decisions made by an egotistical fool trying to prove he's some kind of genius.
Oh well . . . Go Bokke!

The question is would you select Pollard over Libbok for the game against Ireland next week?
If the answer is "yes" then it's a sensible enough decision.
If the answer is "no" then it's a very stupid call.
Manie Libbok is not a world class goal-kicker but he adds a lot of flair to the backline and the Boks are looking good playing expansive running rugby.
If it was me I'd have called up Dweba to be my bench hooker and I'd have stuck with Manie, flaky goal-kicking or not.
I don't believe Pollard's goal-kicking is so much better than Manie's that it warrants us playing a lightweight non-specialist hooker for 30 minutes in each game from here on in.
Fat, loser Wallie exposed….it’s sooooo easy. ROFL!
But Moz, Rooi at least had the balls to concede he got Rassie wrong, something you can’t bring yourself to do.
With that comes respect
Leading up to the WC, Rooi had a point regarding Pollard vs Libbok’s goal kicking - they pretty much had the same strike rate pre the WC
Saffex, it's just the usual childish rubbish from Moffie. Instead of actually addressing the point - (that his whole "Rassie was lucky" campaign is a self-defence mechanism) - the pompous old fool tries to deflect by posting things that I said. A grade 3 child would have more imagination.
To compound the embarrassment - as you correctly point out - I admitted I got Rassie wrong. Doesn't stop the fat-faced fool from quoting all my pre RWC anti-Rassie comments but he's basically proving my point . . . that he's incapable of admitting he got anything wrong. It was all luck.
LMAO!

I'm no fan of Rudehole, but although he had valid questions about Rassie, he realized and conceded that he was wrong...
So Dave…..Eluckmiss had already won a WC and a Lions’ series. He was in the final of the WC and Foot Stamp thought he was ‘an egotistical fool trying to prove he is some kind of genius’.
So what changed…we won the WC final over 14 man NZ by a point. And that apparently changed….so he was now a modest genius, who proved that by winning one game by one point, as a result of the boot the genius didn’t even select.
Foot Stamp had watched Eluckmiss coach the Boks for 63 games and concluded he was ‘an egotistical fool…..but one game changed that.
Or was it just he figured out he made a fool of himself and to be popular he suddenly did a 180. No need to respect that, it’s what weak people do.
We still won...he conditioned his troops to pull through..
Nz was anyways easier than the semi vs the Poms...our most difficult match of the tournament...even worse than the Frogs.
It was easier because we were playing 14 men for a full half…no verbal gymnastics can avoid that dominant fact, despite the inherent dishonesty of those trying to do so.
That Red Card Robbed the WC Final of Competitiveness.
These new reffing systems and rules, are major suspect! Less is more, these pompous asses!
But yes Erasmus had a very good portion of luck 3 x 1 Point says it all. But he did manage to make our Forwards dominant again.
And let’s hope with Brown things can even get more Dimensions.
But if it goes down to the grind
"Slow Poison " as R&N loved to always say, then we quite well equipped to hang with the top.
Moz your inability to concede you are wrong regarding Rassie is nothing short of embarrassing
As is your inability to grasp the fact that the 14 men counted for very little when we did not have a specialist hooker to drive home the set piece advantage
Its rugby basics you just dont grasp
Do you honestly think Rassie would have left out a match fit Pollard from his WC squad - honestly how stupid are you people who keep banging on that he never selected Pollard
Dave let me dispose of the hooker fallacy once and for all. Deon Fourie was perfectly capable of running the mauls. But if he wasn’t, that’s all on Erasmus. He could have picked a hooker to replace Marx. As for leaving out Pollard he was at liberty to choose Pollard a former WC winner and if he wasn’t fit the rules allowed him to be replaced.
For some incredibly dumb reason Luckmus decided he didn’t need him. Instead in one of the dumbest coaching moves ever he chose 4 scrumhalves.
Do try stop being a brain dead groupie Dave, But it’s nice you came to Time Stamp’s defense, he needed the help.
Pffffffffffffffhahahahahahahahaha!
Moffie, the day I need help dealing with a self-important egg-faced old rugby noob like you I'll probably top myself.
"Instead of actually addressing the point"
OMW...look who's talking.
Rooi, you have never directly addressed any point, ever. The biggest and most bitter loser on this board by a country mile.
You like holding other's to standard's that you have ever shown any capability of achieving.
So Time Stamp you are thinking of topping yourself. Clearly it’s something you ponder if circumstances aren’t good. The implication is if you lose an argument badly enough on here….you will do the ‘no más’ move.
I’ll try to avoid pushing you to the edge. But how would you do it….drink a gallon of vodka and ignite yourself. Where you live there are no buildings to jump off….hahaha.
Oops this could be a bit testy….don’t do it, your life as CleverMike beckons. People in their dotage are still people.

Once again we see the impact of cards. Under the modified 20 minute red card system Wales racked up 12 of their 18 points while Ireland had 14 men, including both their tries.
it was a brave effort and the last near try, was incredibly close. Ireland was way off their game especially in the scrums in the first half. None of the 6 Nations teams really look formidable at this point.
Watching the Scottish match the thought occurred that Duhan might have made a formidable 13 with his running in traffic and superb offloads. That capapability inside a Kolbe could have been epic. Sadly the lucky packet Finn Russell needed a bit of Pollard like nerve, if you are going to win the close ones you need a Pollard.
