LOLOLOL!!!Our best players: Marx, PSDT, Eben and Manie in the backs.:D:D:D

Also thinks Eben, Lood RG and Mostert are the 4 best locks int the world...streaching it a  bit there, but surely a formidable combo in a match day 23.

I really like Skulk as a rugby pundit. Good interview. Can't disagree with too much of what he says.

Schalk spot on. Here we have a man who understands the game. A real pleasure to listen to.

Loved his praise of Eben, Marx and Du Toit our three Workd class forwards. Also his praise of Rassie.

So different from our noobs posting here. Hahahahaha. Glass jaw and soft under belly.

I am concerned about our loss of Marx. Huge loss. If we lose Eben as well how will we go then. How long is Lood out for?

Would be nice to get Schalks views on Allende. They would probably line up with mine that he is a competent international center. Like Kriel they are given to negative an assessment.

I recall ou Rooitwit always making out that Schalk was some thick plank. A Neanderthal type. Nice to see ou Rooitwit appreciating Schalk at last.

So it turns out those of us backing Rassie and Du Toit were totally right. The noob's were wrong. Hahahahahaha. Mozzz and Deus won't have enjoyed this clip.

Bok ferocity? The Boks are physically tame. Any team, even tier 2, who turns up the dial makes us look weak. The likes of PTSD, Damian, Libbok, Kolisi, the back three et al don't win the physical battles. Out 76% tackle efficiency over the past two seasons reflects that problem.

Man ou Deus has lost it. Like Mozzzz he is hoping for a Bok collapse through injuries and Refs. Anything will do as long as the Boks lose!!! Stressing times for Mozzzz and Deus! Can't Close Moth Smiley

In answer to the question of this topic, Bok ferocity can be handles if the game is fast. Those big boys will be gasping for air if the game is not stop start.

Not sure I agree with you JW. The Boks are always a very fit side, partly because they are used to playing at high altitude. They can keep up the intensity at sea level.

Actually the Bok ‘ferocity’ has mainly paid off in scrumming penalties and maul tries. The challenge to all our opponents is to avoid that sequence in the bulk of the game and more especially, as we saw against Scotland, when the bomb squad comes on.

For NZ that needs to win through the backline…,deconstructing the rush defense is crucial. There is space behind the forward pushing centres and often outside after several phases. Can Mo’unga and whoever NZ chooses at 12 exploit that space….or will they, as in the recent match, be overwhelmed by the lack of time?

For ABs to overcome extreme pressure they need to be able to execute the kicks over the heads of the rush and then retrieve it. It's hard to do and the percentage of success is not great. If we can do it we can put pressure through the scoreboard and force a more open game. Sadly the odds are for negative, plodding rugby,

The locks are key to NZ. That's the base structure to their 2-4-2 wide-wide game. Their locks, when they show up and dominate us, and they have done so often, they always then have the edge. It all dovetails together.

it didn’t work so well a few weeks ago...

Sep 16, 2023, 17:51

Draad the wee abs didn't get the Deus memo about the glass jaw and soft under belly the Boks had so failed to exploit these very severe weaknesses that nobody but Deus knew about.

Bwahahahahaha man there is no shortages of laughs in this board.

New Zealand didn't try hard. When it mattered, they've always had the physical edge. The casuals in SA are too narcissistic to get it.
