Well, it looks like Hacjivah Dayimani's French rendezvous has hit an early curtain call as Racing 92 has officially confirmed that the dynamic loose forward is packing his bags and heading back to his homeland. Dayimani, who landed in Paris with a splash in July 2024, was originally set to charm the City of Lights for two seasons. Yet, here we are, not even two years later, and he's got a one-way ticket back to the Stormers.

Why the sudden adieu, you ask? Racing 92 spilled the beans, citing "personal reasons" behind Dayimani's premature departure. It seems the pull of home and the need to be closer to family have tugged our man back to South African shores. Racing 92, in a statement dripping with goodwill, said,

“This decision will allow Hacjivah to return to South Africa to be with his family."

They praised his stint at the club, noting his "exemplary conduct towards the club and his teammates."

Generosity is clearly in the Parisian air, as Racing 92 didn’t just let Dayimani go; they facilitated his early release with all the grace of a French sommelier presenting a vintage Bordeaux. "Racing 92 gave its approval to facilitate this early departure," the club stated, underscoring their support for Dayimani's personal and professional journey. They even sent him off with a classy, “Racing 92 thanks Hacjivah Dayimani for his commitment and wishes him all the best for the rest of his career.” Talk about parting on good terms!

And just like that, Dayimani isn’t just heading home; he’s diving straight back into the fray. Reports are buzzing that he will be lining up for the Stormers in their upcoming clash against the Lions at Ellis Park on the 28th of February. After 19 caps with Racing 92, it’ll be interesting to see how he slots back into the Stormers’ lineup.

It’s a whirlwind return for Dayimani, and the Stormers fans are surely eager to welcome back their prodigal son. Will he pick up where he left off? Only time will tell, but one thing's for sure – the Stormers' den at Ellis Park just got a little more exciting!
