England clinched a nail-biting 27-23 victory over Argentina at Twickenham Stadium, wrapping up their Autumn series in dramatic fashion. Max Ojomoh, on his debut start, shone brightly, while Elliot Daly's comeback left much to be desired.

Fred Steward was a beacon of reliability at the back, effortlessly handling Argentina's misguided kicks and breaking through their defense with his dynamic runs. His performance solidified his place as England's first-choice fullback, scoring an impressive 8. Immanuel Feyi-Waboso, always a powerhouse on the wing, dazzled in the first half with strong carries and a try, though his defensive lapses later on slightly marred his score to a 7.

Henry Slade, largely invisible initially, picked up his game in the second half, managing to score a try but only earning a 5 for his overall inconsistent showing. Max Ojomoh, in contrast, had a standout debut, scoring a try and setting up another, his confidence and skill earning him a high 9.

"Max's debut was simply phenomenal. To play with such poise and impact is rare,"

praised England's coach post-match.

Elliot Daly struggled to make his mark, his performance deemed poor with a score of 4. George Ford, however, controlled the game beautifully, his strategic play and a drop goal pushing him to an 8.

In the forwards, Ben Earl and Maro Itoje were relentless, with Earl drawing penalties and topping tackle counts, and Itoje disrupting the Pumas at every turn, both earning a solid 7. However, Asher Opoku-Fordjour and Alex Coles had quieter games, both marked at 5, due to missed tackles and scrum struggles.

The replacements made a significant impact, notably Henry Pollock and Fin Baxter, who collectively amassed 30 tackles in 30 minutes, proving crucial as Argentina mounted a comeback.

England's ability to leverage their bench strength and key performances from newcomers and veterans alike allowed them to edge out a tough Argentine side, setting the stage for future contests with promising talents and seasoned leaders steering the ship.
