Hopefully those people bemoaning the "boring" RWC or saying silly things like "RIP Rugby Union" are feeling suitably foolish around about now.

Four absorbing, tense and exciting games of rugby.

Every game was almost impossible to watch if you had a horse in the race….decided in the closing minute of each game. That breakout from France in the last minute was heart attack material

I have been impressed with the whole World Cup so far. Having the best teams play each other early is a novelty- in the opening rounds and quarters.

Not so great for Ireland and France going out in the quarters, but excellent for the Boks and All Blacks.

It has not been a lopsided tournament like in 2007 with a lucky draw

Yes, we have had some great games including those involving the "minnows".

Easily the best WC I've watched.

And this was probably the best weekend of international rugby I can remember.

Safe to say Boks vs ABs in the final?

Commiserations to Ireland and France, so close and yet so far, it would be a gut wrenching experience one all too familiar to Bok fans from past experience. Anyone of the four teams would be worthy RWC champions in my not so humble opinion.

I don't know if the Irish could have played any better and it definitely wasn't for a lack of trying, they gave it their all but fell to a better team on the day. The AB defence was off this planet....daresay theirs's is even better than the Boks.

The French lost a game that could have gone either way it swung on a ball hair, just sensed that the Boks wanted it just a wee bit more and their self belief carried them through those hard last minutes.

Two masterclass games that's a shot in the arm for rugby and will do it good worldwide.

Any Kiwi fans still knocking Foster? LOL

I predicted a Bok loss but obviously I'm happy they won and I'm sticking with my backline selections. There's X Factor on either wing well then just imagine that same X Factor in the 13 jumper with Canaan Moodie.

Are there still doubts about playing two small wings? LOL

Can't understand why Willemse was substituted, Willie is hardly an adequate replacement and the same with Faf, their use by date has come and gone. Grant Williams is by the proverbial mile more skilled  and faster than Faf.

My earlier prediction of a Bok vs AB final is starting to look good.

And the bet I laid on the Boks before the games started is also looking good.:D

 Denny

I put R50 on the S pring boks winning  combined with the followng three tennis players playming  in Tokyo in the Japan Open_

*     Tommy Pual

*      Taylor Fritz

*      Karen Khachanov

Odds being at 6/1 - so I am happy at the outcome.

I was not really impressed by players like De Allende, Du Toit and Kriel - long condemned as useless by most of the site members,    They were a drain on the team as preducted - but I had two of them in my fantasy team on Superbru anyway.        .    .   .

I just realized the Poms are the only undefeated team left at this RWC...what's the odds of that happening?
