Did you know that at the height of his fame with Counting Crows, Adam Duritz was also bartending at the Viper Room?
Apparently he was regular there hanging with a friend one day. The bar lady said she wanted to go to the loo and asked if Duritz would mind watching the bar.
He said he enjoyed it and since their buddies hung out there all the time he decided to work behind the bar.
Gotta love a story like that.

….admittedly with 1500 other people at a concert. What a performer she is….so few singers male or female can do operatic pieces and popular pieces. It was interesting hearing a soprano singing Nessun Dorma, effortless…..more lyrical. Her Phantom is epic and of course this being the season there were some beautifully rendered carols.
It kind put me in the spirit, so through Christmas and the 12 days of Christmas I will stop telling the truth about the World Cup…pax vobiscum.
