Well here's the thing.....with the iconic and indispensable Marx gone the Boks need a player(s) to fill the hole.....ball carriers and fetchers. Ain't gonna be Mostert, in that game he tried and got sat on his ass. That said he's not the only one found wanting as you can see from my above post. I used to enjoy Willie but he went sour when he started chip kicking in the red zone......not sure how the oval ball knows how to land so you can gather it again...talk about squandering opportunity. Kicking in the red zone is a no-no, I'm sure everyone would agree that you can't score a try if the ball is not in your hands.
Yeah Willie’s time is up, he has been a great servant for the Boks - it’s a gift being able to screen, pause and create like he does - the try assist king

The Boks have missed a trick not investing in Gelant as he is the only other player I have seen with that creating ability Willie has
Gelant was simply brilliant doing that for the Stormers before he stupidly left - good to see him back though

take, well played Deon Fourie......where have you been? ....turned me into one of your critics hahaha. Thought the Boks showed a lot of self belief, not their best game, they didn't start well and suffered some flat spots but that could be for a number of reasons. The one thing that worries me is that they allow themselves to be compressed allowing the opposition wing to score untouched. It's happened one too many times.
I hope Rassie has discovered his starting 23.....mine wouldn't include chip kick Willie(ditched him long ago) the dead end centre pairing and toothpick Mostert who got tackled backwards a couple of times.
