Just stumbled across an interview with him on a program on Prem Sport here which is the channel that shows the URC games. The programme is called Send It - hosted by a SA’n and Irishman

Roos comes across so well, comes across as a really nice guy - articulate, laid back, fully of humour

I can’t begin to comprehend how he would not fit in personality wise

The SA host before Roos comes on said he was such a nice guy

They never mentioned the Springboks - more about the Stormers and his MOM performances

He was asked which was his favourite pub - he said the pubs in Dublin that had live music

Biggest rugby nerds - he said Damien Willemse who never stops watching rugby clips

The polar opposite is Senatla who watches no rugby at all and never knows any of the scores

Roos is a good lad

We have so many talented and versatile loosies:

6 Siya, Kwagga, PdV, MvS

7 PSdT, Louw, CW, Tshitukas, JLdP

8 Hanekom, JW, Roos, DdP

Amazing depth.

If I was Bok coach, I'd pick Cameron Hanekom and Evan Roos any time they are fit.

I'd play CH at 6. I think he's the most talented, fierce, powerful and impressive loosie I've seen since Andre Venter . . . but like other potential future Springbok stars SFM and Fassi, he does seem a bit injury prone. I'm absolutely certain he can specialise as a 6 and would be a world class fetcher.

PSdT remains far and away our best blindsider but we do need to identify his successor. Elrigh Louw is an obvious candidate but I'd also consider the Tshituka and du Preez brothers.

#8 Incumbent JW is excellent but Roos does pretty much everything Jasper does and adds astonishing pace, power and vision. Roos would be my #8 for the Boks any time he's fit.

Hanekom/PSdT/Roos would be an awesome loose trio.
