Irish Game Plan

Does anyone know the Blue Print to Ireland's Game Plan? It seems the players are always in motion all the time and seem to be singing from the Hymn Page well before the ball gets in their hands and always seem to make the right decision. It is almost robotic but mesmerising to watch. Are there different plans for different parts of the field? How do you stop such a pre determined game plan? Boks seem to have an answer last time they played them but they still lost. All Blacks lost 2 in a row in NZ. Any genius out there? (Not looking at you at all Beeno:D)

A shout out to Wardad if he is still here and Angelina Jolie:D

Your best reply will come via Deus.
These Irish are heavily computerized and they analyze each player of the opposition endlessly.
What you see are digital players and we'll see if their kicks over the top or loop passes will work against our curve defence.

Welcome back Hakwa,,,..it's been a long time.

Hi Denny. Yes it is good to be back. It was good to see most of you still here. As you know COVID happened and then we lost RWC 2019. I was cheering for the Boks in the Finals and I was over the moon when you guys won. Can you imagine putting up with Eddie Jones gloating and leering for 4years. Anyway with you guys winning there was no point catching up and baiting you guys as we quite liked Erasmus and his Team and we knew that Bill was safe - we figured if we did not win better if you guys win it (haha Next best thing)

Anyway part of me wants you guys to beat Ireland but part of me wants you guys to lose so at least we don't meet you in the Quarter Finals but at least you would have softened up Ireland for us (sorry Irish fans in the Forum :D)

Welcome back hakwa.

Well it was either France or the Ab's both strong teams that can never be written off.

But trust that the Springboks can rise to the occassion whoever they play.

No excuses against the #1 team (Ireland) but to give up 14 plus points at this level is unbelievable.

@AJH Thank You.  I thoroughly enjoyed the Test. It was amazing. Both Teams hammer and tongs - tit for tat - Both Teams Proud and Strong - It was a proper Test Match =>it wasn't spoilt by Yellow Cards or Red Cards

I think only independents enjoyed that match.  it was nerve wrecking and peaking out from  behind the sofa.  Once we don't bugger it  up  and lose to Scotland  looking forward  to meeting you guys in the quarters.  We are just so glad you stuck with Foster.  It gives us a fighting chance

Well, they only scored on try no thanks to most over rated bok, Willemse. He didn't cover his man out wide and left a huge space for an easy intercept pass gone begging.

Then, not being attention, allowing drop kick that got touched to run over the dead ball line to concede and 5 meter scrum that led to a penalty.

The Irish game plan is simple, congest the midfield wig triangles and short passes. Their forwards never try to make contact but step or try to glance the tackler so that they can off load. If they do get caught, there is enough forwards to provide quick ruck. No big forwards trying bash the door down.

They also creat a lot of obstruction that they seem to get away with a lot. I don't know why they never been blown up for it.

Then their final play, once they have such in all the tacklers, they simply lob the ball wide for an easy run in like we saw.

Nothing special, just dumb player not staying wide

The Irish are anything but simplistic. It's smart reading of play in real time. Patience, and careful execution. They offer a dual threat always. Their forwards and punch runners run hard and straight, but they also slip passes to another hard runner. They always have options underneath and wide. The Boks of present day don't have the brainpower to play dead end shuffle ball with 3 man pod screens and a painfully obvious wide runner. It's pitiful.

So how come they only scored one try due to our wing not staying out wide. If the are so good on attack only a brilliant defence could stop them.

Poor Deus making an ever bigger ass of himself.
Up your game Deus you are becoming a laughing stock which I am sure you don't intend.

Brilliant defence that was run over, run through, misdirected, moved around, and battered? Review the film Beanbag, and do wipe away that suspect substance from your eyes before you do! The Irish were formidable on the ball and the Boks never came close to matching it. Not even player 16 could save them.

They misfired too many times.

SO far, that IR side performs under expectations, they fail at what are regular strengths to them.

It is not so much that SA rugby defended properly, that the IR failed many times.

In fact, both sides were more focused brutalizng each other rather than playing rugby, a normal day for SA rugby though.

It seems none of you know the answer to a simple question. Where is Aristotle when you need him?
