A meaningfully early engage by one member of the front row is physically impossible. I like Wessels in general play, but we have won 2 WCs by destroying the likes of Sinkler, Genge and Cole. Weak props are a disaster waiting to happen. Wessels may have a future as a hooker….we will always have better loosehead alternatives.

I was quite alarmed to see how poor our scrum went once Ox and Marc went off. In the first half we were dominating the scrum but then in the 2nd half they got destroyed.
Lots of hype around the new front row, but it looks like we are running a bit thin on props.
We still have Wilco Louw and Thomas Du Toit. klabakene did really well and I like the look of him and Trevor.
But lots of work for Jan Hendrik, the good news is he still very young but for Fouche who is already 32, I don't think there is much hope for him
