After only one season at Ulster. He has signed a 3 year contract but the struggling club have agreed to let him go

Good news for the Stormers as they literally don’t have a good loosehead

Fuck me they have useless Brok Harris starting for them at 1 these days that’s how desperate things are. Brok is 38 or 39

Apparently he’s been poor this season…

Apr 03, 2024, 23:53

Crap he has not I’ve seen all his games

I got the impression Malherbe twisted Kitsie into a pretzel last weekend. Face it Dave he is a neutral scrummager….the Bok scrum only really worked when Ox subbed on.

I only know what I read from the fans, Saffex.

Stop speaking crap Moz they only faced off in one scrum on Saturday and the scrum never budged - not an inch - rock solid by Kitshoff and Malherbe

Kitshoff is one of the best scrummaging looseheads in the game

Becs big difference between reading and seeing

Apr 04, 2024, 09:40

True.

I never talk shyte Dave, you should know that by now. Kitshoff got two penalties, one for the scrum where Malherbe twisted him into a pretzel:

Bullshit Moz it was not that scrum and the scrum penalties were all very suspect throughout that game including the ones against the Stormers

But you are speaking shit re the Malherbe vs Kitshoff scrum - you clearly did not watch the game

Apr 04, 2024, 13:02

I watched the game….Kitsie was yanked shortly after the scrum. Malherbe is very laid back, but this time he was motivated leaving Kitshoff laid out.

‘A disaster for Stephen Kitshoff there’ says the commentator as Frans pats Kitsie on the back. Check it out.

Apr 04, 2024, 18:20

As I said Moz you are speaking shit. First of all there was no twisting at all, there was no dominance by Malherbe over Kitshoff. The penalty was awarded for standing up by the Ulster hooker

Kitshoff was as firm as ever against the best tighthead in the game. The pressure from Malherbe had the Ulster hooker standing up

Reality versus fiction as usual when it comes to your takes on rugby Moz

Apr 04, 2024, 21:34

The pressure from Malherbe in that particular scrum, was to much for Kitshoff and the hooker… Frans had a very dominant hit, and did not allow Kitsie to get under him, resulting him pushing thru at a inward angle popping Kitsie and the Hooker…Frans is looking good….but that was the only Scrum where Frans got the upper hand….the rest scrums was quite equal…Kitshoff is having a off patch, but still a formidable Loosehead….he will get there again scrumming for the Stormers….In his defence, scrummaging against one of the best technical Tight heads in the World, is a massive task.

Apr 04, 2024, 22:49

You are speaking shit - there is nothing between Malherbe and Kitshoff - no twist no forward movement. The only thing that happens is that the Ulster hooker goes up first followed by Kitshoff and Malherbe together

The penalty was for standing up, the first player to go up is the hooker

That is what happened and that’s a fact

Apr 04, 2024, 23:36

And the Stormers scrum was in reverse….I’ll stick with the commentators on this incident. Kitshoff was subbed immediately, so apparently the replacement did better.

Apr 05, 2024, 08:42

No it was not in reverse you are lying. It went straight up. Kitshoff got subbed as most props do at minute 55 it had fuck all to do with his scrumming. Malherbe was on as a sub for the Stormers before Kitshoff was subbed by Ulster.

The loosehead replacement made absolutely no difference as there was nothing in the scrums all match

The Stormers were never going to dominate the scrums with useless Brok Harris starting at loosehead
