Much like Kwagga, Faf just has that thing. Perhaps not everybody recognises it, but it is there and it's undeniable. That mixture of smarts, intelligence, and competitiveness, with an extra something that goes beyond what can't ever be adequately described with words.
Yeah, maybe we had some better 9s in the past. But none of them have been as successful as Blondie nor made the position as exciting as he has. I can't think of another Bok 9 that ever made the amount of clearly meaningful interventions so regularly. Yeah, everyone is thinking Du Preez, but now that we've seen the majority of the body of Faf's work, I'm not so sure Du Preez is still at the top of my list.
