Gotta hand it to Manie. He was on point today.

Why they never targeted him is a mystery to me. All you have to do is run at him.

Even super lock Mostert would have made those conversions.

How many conversions and other kicks has he failed at and now because the Springboks ran riot on the AB's in this test he is made out as great #10.

Him and Elon are one and the same shit scared and failed Springbok fly-halves.

Manie stats:

3 runs for 2 metres/15 passes

4 turnovers conceded….1try assist….2 tackles made/1 missed….6 kicks made/1 missed…

‘’The ABs were gormless, the moment he was on the park it should have been pre decided he was going to be charged on every possession. Like George Ford in the WC final.

Just watched the game again.

Where did manie concede 4 turnovers?

There was one direct kick into touch, but the game was too frenetic to focus on one player. The stats are from ESPN Rugby Stats Guru….they are usually spot on.

Manie was good yet again - a class act

Sep 14, 2025, 01:53

Can’t say I saw Manie do anything in general play except kick cross kicks

Lol...stats don't tell the whole story.

Libbok is nothing special, he’s the glass jaw of that team. Cast your minds back to Butch James: he was such a force that Graham Henry had to beg the refs to nullify him, because he made the All Black midfield weep.

Doos YAWN

Well the whole Allblack team "wept" more yesterday than ever before...good team effort by the Bokke...Manie did little wrong and combined well with the backline to get them gelling...enough kicks to keep the variation going without overdoing it...Manie is a weak link on defence, but if we can dominate possession like yesterday, he will keep us on the front foot...definitely showed he's still a very viable option at 10.

Exactly Draad only an idiot would see no value in Manie - he is brilliant at getting his backs on the front foot, brilliant pass, great vision and great kick pass

He is small so will be defensively vulnerable but then so are McKenzie, Marcus Smith, Jalibert, Ford, Ramos, Lynagh etc

Glad to see I'm not the only one who sees those skills......but hey man, there are those who can't help but hate.
