Canan Moodie is rallying the troops, promising a Springbok revival in Cape Town after the team's recent stumble at Ellis Park. With the Wallabies awaiting this Saturday, the stage is set for what could be a redemptive spectacle.

Moodie, versatile in his roles both as a centre and a wing, is tipped for a starting spot in Rassie Erasmus' lineup. The sting of a 38-22 defeat still fresh, Moodie shared,

"Everyone is extremely disappointed, and we are hurting, but as coach Rassie said, we know what we have to do."

The plan? "This week we need to stack the positives and ensure that we stick to our plans on the day."

However, the Boks' campaign is hampered by notable absences. Captain Siya Kolisi with a knee issue, and Pieter-Steph du Toit out on concussion protocol, are major blows. Additionally, wing options are limited as Kurt-Lee Arendse and Edwill van der Merwe are sidelined due to injuries.

There's a silver lining though. Damian de Allende and Cheslin Kolbe are back in the mix, cleared for action, while Jesse Kriel steps up as captain in Kolisi's absence. Moodie emphasized the need for tactical harmony: "Our defence has to complement our attack and our kicking game has to be spot on this week."

The Wallabies come into the game buoyed by their rare victory at Ellis Park. Moodie remains optimistic about the Boks' chances, especially with the backing of a passionate Cape Town crowd.

"With the backing of a Cape Town crowd, we know what’s at stake,"

he asserted. "It’s about getting the detail right and delivering a full 80-minute performance."

As Erasmus gears up to unveil his match-23, anticipation builds. This Saturday could very well be a turning point as the world champions aim to balance the scales in this riveting two-Test series. Cape Town, brace yourselves—the Boks are fired up and ready to make a statement!
