The final whistle of the 2026 Men’s Six Nations will be blown by Australia's Nic Berry when France clashes with England on March 14, closing out the Championship on what has been dubbed Super Saturday. A cadre of 33 international officials will be orchestrating the action across 15 high-stakes matches, with Berry's selection highlighting a lineup featuring referees from eight different countries, collectively bringing a staggering 487 Tests of experience to the field.

Berry, who will command the pitch at the iconic Stade de France in Paris, is just one part of a meticulously chosen team that also sees Karl Dickson of England opening the tournament at the same venue for the France vs. Ireland game on February 5. Dickson notably scores a double duty, being the only official appointed to referee two matches.

Historical milestones will pepper the Championship, with Matthew Carley of England overseeing his 50th Test during the Wales vs. Scotland match in Cardiff, making him the 17th official to reach this notable career landmark. Meanwhile, Hollie Davidson will make history as the first woman to referee a Men’s Six Nations match when Ireland takes on Italy on February 14.

"Congratulations to all selected. We are committed to high performance through consistency, clarity, and accountability,"

stated Joël Jutge, World Rugby High-Performance 15s Match Officials Manager. He emphasized the relentless pursuit of growth and the importance of alignment and understanding among coaches, broadcasters, and fans.

New faces will also grace the tournament with Luc Ramos of France and Katsuki Furuse of Japan making their Six Nations debuts in their respective roles. This injection of fresh talent underscores the tournament's ongoing evolution and its embrace of global rugby talent.

The closing clash between France and England is expected to be a fierce contest, with both teams looking to end their campaigns on a high note. Berry, alongside assistant referees Nika Amashukeli and Hollie Davidson, will be at the heart of the action, ensuring the game's integrity and flow are maintained up until the final play.

With the stage set for an electrifying conclusion to the Six Nations, all eyes will be on Paris come March 14, as these top-tier nations battle it out for supremacy under the keen supervision of some of the best officials in the world of rugby.
