He is making a comeback with the Cheetahs with the aim of penning a one year deal

Is due to start training with them shortly

This is great news

Sbu at his best is a asset…makes a person wonder what happened at the bulls, especially his player/coach relationship with Jake ?? Hope he makes headway at the Cheetahs and After that, join the Stormers.

He is a troubled guy - mental health issues

Feb 13, 2024, 20:19

If he is at the Cheetas, his salary must be lower than the main teams.
Maybe he can establish some more professionalism. He might be better moving to outside center where their is less depth than wing.

Feb 13, 2024, 22:41

No he needs to stick to wing

Mapimpi is too old now so he only has Kolbe and Arendse ahead of him

Feb 14, 2024, 05:57

Since when is being a doos a mental health issue?

It's a social disorder, sure...but that's just another way to say that people don't like him.

Nah, we got plenty of fantastic wingers.

Trouble follows this guy around with every team he joins .... such an unlucky guy hey

I would not invest in a player like this ... too disruptive... far too arrogant... does not give a shit at all about the team he plays for

Feb 14, 2024, 07:37

Harsh words there DA….I can’t recall him making trouble by the boks? He scored 9 tries in sixteen Games….. let’s hope this time around, he can make a change and get his Attitude in check.

Feb 14, 2024, 09:38

He is older now so may have wised up. Time marches on and he needs to cash in on the remainder of his career. Definitely a talent.

Feb 14, 2024, 09:47

Unfortunately it would be best for him not to play elite sport as he won't be able to handle the pressure. Don't forget about Dan Vickerman, Bishops boy from Cape Town that played at lock for Australia who committed suicide at 37 after rugby.

I also think Sbu is his attitude, he doesn't like playing 2nd fiddle and probably not the right fit for a team. I wouldn't put him in my team, no matter how good he is

"Harsh words there DA"

Harsh words are needed Mpower

Sbu was given a fantastic opportunity when offered a contract with the Bulls, when he was playing for the Sharks, but he literally just vanished from all training sessions, went quiet on social media, and did not once contact any Bulls teammate or management, to let them know where he was and that he was actually ok.

Only after a few weeks had gone by of him being missing, and also after the Bulls were forced to make a big media announcement..... only then did he contact the Bulls...to say that he was staying with his father.

Nah..... what a wasted fantastic talent, who has a major attitude issue that has followed him around for a long time.... and I will say again, what I said back then .... don't confuse a genuine mental disorder with downright arrogant self entitlement behaviour.

Feb 14, 2024, 13:19

Can’t argue with what he did, but he can be a good back up to our wings we already have….let’s see what he does from now…as this is most probably his last chance.

Feb 14, 2024, 14:45

Only a bunch of self absorbed selfish pricks would not give Nkosi another chance

Good on the Cheetahs - it’s exactly what I would do

Feb 14, 2024, 16:51

Nah, I'd rather give Tambwe a shot.

Feb 14, 2024, 17:48

Madosh Tambwe is playing for Bordeaux Begles at the moment but a great wing….wonder if he has sorted his Residence for SA?

Feb 14, 2024, 17:52

Tambwe is class always been a fan

Green is another
