ALLBLACKS making hard work of Argentina...30-35 after 71 min.

Aug 10, 2024, 09:51

30-38...minute and a half to go.

Aug 10, 2024, 09:53

Pathetic from ABs…..Very disappointing.

All over...

What a mess - is this the best the AB's can produce?    Surely not - that badline bady needs ixing.  and the forwards were disappoiting too.

Tis is partly due to lack of competion in Super Rugby when New Zealand forced SA out of that series.   They cannot built national performance without performances n lower level and that loer level is weakened.

And we see a shoulder hit to the head, almost identical to Sam Cane's, and only a penalty is sanctioned.

Comes with disrespecting the Argies and not selecting a completely full strength side

Dave

I disagree  on the AB selections.   Teir is nothing much he AB's can do better than what they had as backline players,   - as to their forwards there is only two potential forward improvements theAB's could make,

However,ey disrepectes the Argentinians all right and did not play like a team -rather than each playr thinking he is the cat's whiskers and mighty enough to run through the defense of the Argentnians and a large degree a total lack of team play.

Afternoon all

I don’t wanna sound like a poes, I love the ABs. They have always been my second favourite team.

But I cannot stand that doos of a coach.

He’s a good coach but flippin arrogant.

So until he is out of the picture, I hope the ABs lose every game.

I started disliking him when we were still in Super Rugby and he was at the Crusaders.

He always took the limelight. With his cocky interviews and stupid breakdance moves when they won.

Rant over.

Well played Argentina.

Pretty early on in his tenure to get arrogant and select an under strength side to play Argentina

He deserved to see his arse

Aug 10, 2024, 12:12

You surely mean without a mirror?

Aug 10, 2024, 12:22

I thought the AB looked good at stages…but the Pumas were just very good in stopping any kind of momentum they we’re trying to build up…that loose trio of Matera (C), Kremer and Gonzalez spells a danger to any team with there very good play…so it was a very good Puma performance and deserved winners….the all blacks defence looked strapped at stages and forwards had a tough battle, with Pumas having the upperhand ….work in progress adapting to razor they will get better…Congrats Pumas.

Another big scalp for the bargies, winning in NZ is never easy. Don't really feel sorry for them. They have dominated for so long and had for many years got the best part of Super rugby. Were allowed to have 5 teams from day 1. Then got rid of the provinces and went for franchises and then reluctant to give up a team. Not to mention kicking us out of super rugby to go kissing their cousins.

That said, I will always support the southern hemisphere teams. Just hope the south can get back on top

Maybe some oaks will now understand why Rassie is not kicking out e eryone who won't make the next RWC.

It's incremental changes and renewals. Important to keep winning.
