I’ve just booked tickets to see them literally 15 min drive from me in Colchester 14 August supported by Skunk Anansie and White Lies

Both supports are really good, big fan of White Lies

Not a huge fan of the other two but would like to see Billy doing his thing again. I saw them a few times many years back when they were on the Machina tour.

This still remains one of my favourites...

I’m going to Jeremy Loops next week - Camden / London

Feb 18, 2025, 13:07

My favourite

Feb 18, 2025, 13:12

Do Skunk Anansie still exist???

I recently saw Greenday and Offspring in Joburg. Great concert.

Offspring are one of the very few bands from the 90's that still sound great and still look the part.

Feb 18, 2025, 15:19

Ive seen Green Day a few times - they are awesome live

Big fan of The Offspring

Seems Skunk Anansie are on a comeback

Feb 18, 2025, 15:36

I was also at the Offspring concert Flash. They're incredible.

My biggest disappointment was seeing Axl and Guns n roses live.

He is just no where near what he was and should just hang up his boots and take more drugs.

I loved GnR, but seeing him perform, put me off a bit.

Feb 18, 2025, 15:47

Yeah they were slated here in the UK headlining Glastonbury

These old timers need to pack it in much like sportsmen

Feb 18, 2025, 16:00

I think that’s my favourite White Lies track too, Saffolk :)

Feb 18, 2025, 16:02

Still one of my favourite lyrics...

"We all want to hold in the everlasting gaze

Enchanted in the rapture of his sentimental sway

But underneath the wheels lie the skulls of every cog

The fickle fascination of an everlasting god"

Feb 18, 2025, 16:07

This chap can speak zero English but his cover of Stand Inside Your Love is still one of my favourites.

If you listen carefully, you can hear him mispronounce some words haha

Feb 20, 2025, 10:06

These two albums are just gold...

Soundgarden - SuperUnknown

And then this.

If you don't like Alice in Chains we just can be friends.

Alice in Chains - Unplugged

Feb 20, 2025, 22:22

Fuck sake Plum it means we have to be mates - I love those two bands - grunge is my go to, my happiest place music wise - Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Queens of the Stoneage, Stone Temple Pilots, Incubus, Puddle of Mud

Are you a Tool fan? Aenima is next level

Feb 20, 2025, 22:27

Kick arse

Tte song Aenema is a must - earphones in and full volume

Their drummer is the best in the business - the Eben of drummers with his double kit

Feb 20, 2025, 22:54

This will blow your mind

Feb 22, 2025, 07:04

Indeed. Just a pity they all keep dying.

Thank heavens Eddie still alive.

I've never really listened to Tool. Strange, I know. Everybody raves about them but I seem to have never gotten round to it.

I'll listen to that album while I work today and shall provide some feedback.

Feb 22, 2025, 14:28

Watch that Carey drumming session above as well

Tool are very non commercial they steer away from it all

Maynard is a weird fucker

Feb 24, 2025, 15:07

Okay, I listen to the entire album. The give me Deftones mixed with Linkin Park vibes haha..

Pretty cool.

Feb 24, 2025, 16:54

Yeah they are one of my favourite bands seen them twice

Feb 24, 2025, 19:36

I wanna be unemployed with these guys...

Feb 24, 2025, 19:59

Love the Black Keys

Feb 24, 2025, 20:10

Feb 27, 2025, 21:01

I don't know too many obscure bands haha.

But not many people know Xavier Rudd...
