It’s a Bok-laden bonanza as the Vodacom Bulls gear up to unleash a quartet of Rugby Championship gladiators against Ulster this Saturday in Belfast. Leading the charge is Handré Pollard, marking his grand return to the Bulls' lineup since his last run in the 2019 Super Rugby quarter-finals. Joining him are fellow Springboks Wilco Louw, Marco van Staden, and the young gun Canan Moodie, all ready to stampede in their tour opener.

The Bulls are shaking things up with a whopping 11 changes to their squad, thanks in part to the cruel mistress that is injury, sidelining stalwarts like Marcell Coetzee and JF van Heerden. The starting XV sees fresh faces with Wilco Louw bulldozing in for Mornay Smith, Cobus Wiese slotting in for the injured Van Heerden, and Marco van Staden taking over from Coetzee. Jeandre Rudolph, Zak Burger, and Canan Moodie also snag starting spots, adding zest to the lineup. The bench isn’t left untouched either, featuring strategic swaps aimed at maintaining the Bulls' formidable presence.

"We're bringing a blend of experience and raw talent, and we expect to make a significant impact right from the kickoff,"

noted a strategic Johann Grobbelaar, who captains the side brimming with ambition and skill.

This match isn't just another game; it's a statement. Pollard, back after a long hiatus, is set to orchestrate the Bulls' attack, adding a layer of intrigue to the clash. With eight Springboks in the starting lineup, the Bulls are not just playing; they're parading their prowess on the international stage.

Bulls Team: Devon Williams, Sebastian de Klerk, Canan Moodie, Harold Vorster, Stravino Jacobs, Handré Pollard, Zak Burger, Jeandre Rudolph, Mpilo Gumede, Marco van Staden, Nicolaas Janse van Rensburg, Cobus Wiese, Wilco Louw, Johann Grobbelaar (c), Gerhard Steenekamp.
