Boks by 1 point.
It's not the starting lineup I would have selected but what would I know, the benefit of my doubts has to go with Rassie, he's the coach while I'm the armchair critic.
Boks v 2
Bokke by 3.
Boks by 5
I have to support my Mighty ABs as I should. ABs by 3. 25-22 which was the score in the decider at Eden Park in 1981!
Concerns are the rain, injuries and cards.
Assuming we negotiate the weather better this time round and thslat there are no cards and injuries to backs in particular. I think Barnes will be fair and competent as a ref. We shall see.
Boks by say 10.
I see the wee abs are packing plenty of lard in their forwards.
"I have to support my Mighty ABs as I should. ABs by 3. 25-22 which was the score in the decider at Eden Park in 1981!"
Tries were only worth 4 points back then.
Yeah forgot about that fact Draad.
Boks by 5.
Spring boks by `1 point. After beating the French and the English by 1 point in the qyuarter and semifinals the chances of that would run into i out of billions. Lets see what happens.though,
I'll take a one point win Mike.
Can you imagine the wee abs leading by two points and at the 82 minute we are awarded a 55 meter plenty which Pollard sinks.
A picture of Mozz and the Doos at that moment
would be priceless. Hahahahaha.
Well, the Boks had better not lose.
To go from thrashing the ABs in the warm-up, then rotating our squad like crazy, losing the final would be catastrophic.
The ABs, nor any other top side, rotated players as much as we did.
Freshness won't be an excuse...and synergy better not come up either.
We've only lost Marx. Sure it's a knock, but it won't be a sufficient excuse for losing this weekend.
I'm going Boks by 6 or ABs by 6...
Beeno, it's kinda unfair to label Moz and Deus as wanting the Boks to lose.
They'll be just as happy as the rest of us when we win.
Neither of them want to be right so badly that they'd rejoice in the ABs taking The Cup.
Moz doesn't like Rassie and Deus believes the Boks could be a lot better. I also think the Boks could be playing better rugby than they are.
You believe the world could be a better place than it is, right? Does that mean you hate the world?
Cumon man.
Plum, you were around when the Boks won in 2019
You surely recall that these two worthies trashed the Boks and Rassie after the win. They disputed all the Bok awards.
Since then on virtually a daily basis thru have trashed Rassie and the Boks.
Consider what the Doos has said about the Boks. Consider also that Mozzzz has never corrected the outlandish comments made by the Doos. He admires the out of the box thinking of Doos.
Does that look to you like a real Bok supporter. Think about it.
Nope these two have been the most virulent consistently anti Rassie, anti Bok critics on this board by far. Carping. Roti isms day after day. There is no balance in their assessment of Rassie. How I the world do you call him the worst coach EVER or the Boks the worst team EVER. Or say a side like the Boks have the worst defence and a glass jaw and soft underbelly etc etc etc etc.
Nope a real Bok supper will all out this BS. Which of course is what I do along with some others.
I said to mozzz I would take back aims he is a fake Bok supporter of he told Doos he was wrong re the above. But of course mozzz has done no such thing. He approves of the drivel the Doos posts.
So right now I do not in any way think I should change my stance.

Now that was what we were asking for. Not the dull tactics that barely won the Welsh test, but a softening up followed by some excellent running rugby. Perhaps the Welsh test was a rope a dope tactic, or perhaps Rassie realized we had to take a few chances.
The test was won with the massive defensive stand in the first half.....and by the Beast's total destruction of Coles. He did it in the British Lions series as well. So many questioned his selection ahead of Kitshoff, but he is the best loosehead in the game.
Vermeulen was, however, the rightful man of the match. Massive brave runs, secure kickoff receptions.....unmoveable on the deck. And there were those who wanted a Deysel twin.
Losing Lomp for Mostert, was no problem either, as Mostert was huge in the goal line defence.
Big games also by Etzebeth, Malherbe, and even Kolisi.
And really all the backs were good today. Allende was solid apart from a bad miss on May in the English in goal. Am showed great touch in the Mapimpi try. And while Kolbe's try was huge, even better was his smother tackle on Lawes when England had a big overlap. Willie found his mojo with one smart early break and fine general fullback play.
But defence was the core of this win.....England, who made a huge mistake playing Ford against this Bok defence, simply had no clue what to do by the second half. They needed Farrell at 10 and Tuilagi at 12. But by the time they made the switch, the Boks were dominant
….continued
I was delighted that we were able to score two fine tries to underscore the win.....something we were criticized for not doing in our other WCs. Scoring those tries provided the high the crowd needed.
Our return to success has come from a rejection of the expansive game and a return to traditional Bok rugby.....with massive defence and physicality. But while last week's performance was dull and risk averse.......today we added the second bit......subdue and then penetrate!
Well done Rassie that was a master class. If the Boks stick with this formula we can get back to where we were before our banning.....top dog.

The Bok defence hasn't been good. Erasmus initially circumvented this with this ball control game and kicking. To a degree I might add. This is not a traditionally solid Bok side. It never was under Erasputin, but the side post 2019 is even worse. He has done Nienaber a great disservice by loading the team with turnstyles. This is a very weak Bok team in so many key areas. The biggest gimmick was to have lots of really fast guys running at space and chasing bouncing balls hoping something might happen. We
re this not the weakest SH ever, it'd be a lot worse. That's something to think about.
SNOT!!!
The only Bok in the top 30 players at the WC for tackles is Mostert. Need I say more.
The Springboks better win - I laid a bet of Rublev beating Zverev in the Vienna Open coupled to a win by the Springboks, Genberous Odds 4/1.
l'Grande Merde
You think that weak tackles is all that is needed in a player. Mostert is useless in adding value to line-outs and also in ball protection and recovery in breakdowns
.

You put money on the game? Now that is interesting.
You just use generic phrases in a very lazy and sloppy way.
If Clever actually made all the bets he claims to have made, the poor chap must be destitute.
Especially if you think of all those duplicate bets he's placing. At least the odds are "genberous", as comrade Putin said about a short
ABS by 10.
All Blacks by 7-10 and not by emotional feelings I have for my Bokkie
Pakster the Russians have lost around 50,000 dead. Ukraine 500,000 dead. Putin has Ukraine where wants them and his cautious approach has worked. He has also shown remarkable restraint.
Also how many years and acts of provocation before Putin acted. Think about it.
So who does all those deaths favour, us or the Boks?
Trying to find a link between the two but then your on a different planet to us sane ones pedobeeno.
And you seriously believe those numbers?
Care to provide a link to those stats (in a different thread)
