It seems to me that the French pack is
better than Ireland.
The French definitely went toe to toe with us physically for more than the first half...I was surprised at how well we stood our ground physically during Eben's yellow...master stroke by the offciators to give our best forward a 20+ min rest right in the middle of the match having him play the first half and last half hour...the reason why Mostert was so surprised to be subbed...I'm sure he was supposed to play the whole match with RG replacing Eben for the last 25 min ....the yellow opened that window of opportunity...
Draad if you go back to the match commentary I called that Mostert would get subbed and Eben play to the final whistle precisely because of the extra rest period.
...
the logical decision...I yelled the same thing at my TV!
Lomp physical ….hahaha.
Says ou Mozz who thought wee matfiled was a phy
sical lock. Hahahahaha.

For the first 60 minutes.
They did probably have an edge. However one must consider if we had our most physical pack on tbe field.
To me our most physical pack is
Ox, Marx, Malherbe.
Eben, Lood
Van Staden, Vermuelwn and Du Toit
The loss of Marx and Lood is very significant
To me Snyman is still not back to his best. If he were you could have him before Lood.
I don't think the ftogs would get any change out of thst lot. The the bomb squad could Finnish them off.
