So, I you click through, you probably know what I'm talking about.

A recent team update is that Ox will be out for another 4 weeks and might not even make the warm up games.

We have Kolisi on the crock list and not sure whether he will be battle hardened.

Then we have Bongi completely out of form and uncharacteristicly missing his jumpers.

Trevvvva is yet to feature and at 34 might be hard to drag him out of McDonalds.

So the famed front Row of Ox, Bongi and Trevvva is under threat.

Then we have Kolisi that might pitch up. So according to the KPI's there needs to be 50% African, not coloured in the team. Only in SA

Orrie is a lost cause, man the guy frustrates me. Probably might get a ticket over someone like Jean Klein

Williams and Libbok is there on merit, not Elton.

Am has been misfiring for some time now and not living up to his billing at the moment.

Mpimpi, need I say more, the guys has always been a liability and now just looks like someone that is lost at see

Arendse, Kolbe, Moodie are all their on merit.

Willemse is a utility players and not a starter.

Then we Apiwhe that got to fond of getting juiced and Sbu Nkosi that is struggling to cope with the demands of professional rugby and his only fans page.

Who else is there, Mchunu never cracked the nod, the Tsisuka brother were never even invited into any training camps.

What will Rassie do, will he back these guys and we end up not getting out of our pool, being beaten by Tonga, Scotland and Ireland?

If we do get out we have France and New Zealand and we saw how we played against NZ

We know if We play Kitshoff, Marx, Malherbe, RG and Duanne that our pack start firing.

We need a decent 10, one that can kick goals. Libbok didn't get the baptism of fire that he needed in NZ

So lots to do for Rassie.

Who wants to be a coach in SA

Jul 20, 2023, 18:32

There are the likes of Gelant, Fassi, Tambwe, Zas, Xamlashe, Similane, Sacha, Nohamba, Buthelezi, Dayamani, Notche and the Tsituka brothers involved

It does not help that Ox and Kolisi are injured, along with Moerat

Nyakane is past it and as you say Bongi is off the pace

Add Dweba as an option

Jul 20, 2023, 19:12

  1. Libbok is not there on merit. He is exactly as poor as the exposed 2012 Goosen.
  2. Willemse is acceptable as a utility back.
  3. Arendse is not test quality.
  4. Moodie is not test quality.

Jul 20, 2023, 22:33

Doos shut the fuck up you ignorant prick

No one cares what you think

Fuck you really have to be profoundly stupid to declare Arendse is not test standard - you idiot

Libbok, Moodie, Willemse and Arendse are all quality players who have all proved beyond doubt they are test standard

Arendse not test standard - more tries than tests played bwaahaaaaahaaaaa

Doos why are you so fucking stupid - serious question?

Give the ANC muppets some bribe money . Problem solved

Jul 21, 2023, 03:35

I wonder if uncle Rubert has some pocket change to give to who ever the dumb sports minister is to get him to shut up and taking the players passport

Jul 21, 2023, 07:12

The team that could help the boks based on current squad based on merrit

*Bantu (injured)

  1. Kittshof / (Ox*)
  2. Marx / Dweeb*
  3. Malherbe
  4. Etzebeth
  5. RG
  6. Van Staden (Kolisi*)
  7. PSDT
  8. Vermeulen
  9. Faf / Williams / (Hendrikse)
  10. Pollard / Libbok
  11. Moodie / Arendse
  12. Esterhuizen
  13. Am*
  14. Kolbe
  15. Willie
On my selection, only 3 or 4 are there on merrit. I'm still not convinced about Dweeb. Am is out form. Is Jessie Kriel better with 50 caps? Why did he not start when he was sent to new Zealand

Jul 21, 2023, 09:58

Dweba is not really performing like he should, a guy like Grobbelaar for me is just a much better option…..but in SA you don’t only have to worry about form players but also if they qualify for Transformation….this makes our process in preparation more difficult….and maybe Kriel will have a better season this year, I don’t know but he will most probably get his chance soon….whichever way we need to win all our remaining games before WC, so we at least go to France with the best possible Momentum.

Jul 21, 2023, 10:29

Atendse not test quality. Deus what makes you think that. To date he has been outstanding.

Jul 21, 2023, 10:58

Well, you drop Am for Kriel, then representation goes down

B/C/W

1/3/11

That won't sit well. So you can't drop Mpimpi, can't drop Am, can't drop Bongi. On a good day these players are fine for test matches but not what we've seen this season both in domestic and international

I just don't think the world realise what SA has to deal with.

Then you have the commentators and Journo's dance around this topic when the debate comes up about Marx or Bongi. Or who should replace Mpimpi or Am if they not on form.

All of a Sudden Rassie is in reverse gear having to box out of this.

If you could just pick the best team and accept that some days there will be more and some days there will be less or even no black players.

Rugby is a brutal game, long season and long term injuries.

Rassie will have to break his protocols if wants to rescue his tenure or it will be on with a World Cup, and he will never be credited for winning but more question marks will be added that we had an easy pool and route to the final, that we showed that we were below average and our number 1 ranking was just inflated by COVID and not competing in matches.

No. There is nobody. SA rugby do not train players, especially quota people. SA rugby struggle to field a full quota professional squad.

That is the problem, not the non existing quota policy.

Jul 21, 2023, 12:29

I just don't think the world realise what SA has to deal with.

If only. As it stands, SA rugby situation is too obvious for mingle it. Too clear cut.

This leads to polarization between people who admit the situation and people who deny it, hiding behind nothing like a non existing quota policy.

Bad news are going to the rugby game, courtesy of SA rugby and its inability at moving past its association with the Apartheid.

Jul 21, 2023, 12:35

Inversion is a sign of a liberal mind. Liberals invert things.

This was written months ago, if not years ago.

SA rugby will have to include quota players in order to face outcomes in the WC.

The question is not the one in the OP title.

The question is to know whether SA rugby can include fewer quota players and not win the WC.

As it was noted long ago,the WC was won with a number of quota players. Which places pressure on any team fielding fewer quota players.

Either SA rugby are confident in their capacity in pulling the trick.

Or they are not.

Again liberals invert things, so they want to switch pressure from side.

Tsek!!!

Jul 21, 2023, 15:38

The world knows Korn, they simply don't care. If the media had to switch narrative to the persecuted white man, the Westies would be flying the old SA flag all over Europe and north America like the Ukrainian toilet rag. That's all it would take. The left and right whingers always play the roles they are given to a T.

Jul 21, 2023, 15:54

If the media had to switch narrative to the persecuted white man,

A lot of people would like to be persecuted as the white man has been in SA.

Starting with criminals who rot in jail and would have preferred to sign a confession and walk free.
