The streets of central London are set to burst into life as the Red Roses gear up to mark their monumental Women’s Rugby World Cup victory with a grand celebration at North Park, Battersea Power Station riverside. This epic 'Champions Party' slated for today, Sunday, September 28, from 14:00, promises a festive atmosphere with free entry, ensuring every fan can join in on this historic moment. For those unable to make it, the party will be broadcast live on BBC 1 from 15:00 and streamed on the England Rugby YouTube Channel.

The festivities kick off with a DJ spinning tracks followed by event host entertainment at the venue. The highlight will undoubtedly be the arrival of the victorious Red Roses, poised for celebration moments, interviews, and a special trophy presentation. Fans will get a chance to interact closely as the players will walk through the crowd, creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many before the event wraps up with continued live music until 16:30.

RFU CEO, Bill Sweeney, expressed. He extended heartfelt thanks to the fans for their unwavering support throughout the tournament.

noted Lisa Nandy, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. She emphasized the government's commitment to advancing women's sports through significant investments in the Impact ’25 programme, aimed at increasing rugby participation among women and girls.

Andria Vidler, Chief Executive of Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, also chimed in, celebrating the role of public support in women's rugby, facilitated by The National Lottery's backing for over two decades.

Attendees are advised to opt for public transport due to limited parking availability and to check travel updates. Following today's celebrations, the Red Roses will continue to inspire as they set off on a RugbyFest tour of grassroots clubs from October 3-6, offering a series of events across the country as part of the legacy of their World Cup triumph.
