The rugby world is buzzing with transfer news as teams and players make strategic moves ahead of upcoming seasons. From potential coaching shifts to high-profile player transfers, the rumor mill is in full swing across major leagues like the Top 14, PREM Rugby, Super Rugby Pacific, and the United Rugby Championship.

Starting with the coaching carousel, Joe Worsley, a former England back-rower and 2003 Rugby World Cup winner, is reportedly poised to join the Georgian national team’s coaching staff. This follows the interim appointment of Marco Bortolami, with Pierre-Henry Broncan set to take the reins permanently post-Pro D2 season. "Broncan and I have a solid working history at Castres and Brive, and I'm excited about this new challenge," Worsley shared, currently employed by Top 14 strugglers Perpignan.

Turning to player movements, Faf de Klerk could be making a move to Perpignan after his stint with the Canon Eagles in Japan. The scrum-half’s contract is up for renewal, and amidst interest from Sale Sharks and other PREM and Top 14 clubs, Perpignan seems to be a serious contender. Sale Sharks are also reportedly closing in on Saracens' Alex Lozowski to bolster their backline, further indicating a busy transfer window.

In the tighthead prop market, Ofa Tu’ungafasi is stirring up interest from PREM Rugby clubs as his contract with Blues and All Blacks nears its end. Sale’s Alex Sanderson described the market for props as tough, likening finding a good tighthead to finding "teddy bear s***."

Meanwhile, Wallabies and Western Force lock Darcy Swain is set to join Top 14 giants Clermont after the Super Rugby season, linking up with Blues star AJ Lam. Despite a strong season, Swain has been overlooked for further Wallabies caps under current management, making his move to Europe a fresh start.

On the loyalty front, Tony Brown, amidst the upheaval following Scott Robertson’s sacking, has reaffirmed his commitment to the Springboks.

"I’m obviously contracted. I don’t have an ‘out’ of my contract, so I’m back in South Africa [until the Rugby World Cup],"

Brown stated, dispelling rumors of a return to New Zealand.

With these developments, the international rugby scene continues to evolve, promising an exciting buildup to the new seasons across the leagues.
