We have seen so many amazing talent come through only to be let down because they were young and couldn't stay umble.

The two greatest 10s also played almost in the same decade but just missed a mouth watering head to head.

I'm talking about Jonny Wilkinson and Carter. It was foolish of England to think Wilkinson is to old at 32 and let him go get his pension in Toulon where he became the Englishman to be ever celebrated by the french.

Then you he above 4 mentioned. Copies of the legendary Carlos Spencer.

Why I think Sasha is on the down and not up. Why he belongs in the group of Cooper and not Carter. Simplex he was injured, hid it and it showed and nearly cost a game.

The amount of fuss made about him. Yes is so gifted. But then he needs to show humility and that team come first.

Jonny and Carter were students of the game. Listening to their coaches and doing what they can. When it was on they could show their skills but also knew how to play.

Frans Steyn, probably the most gifted back in SA, but he too suffered and only became wiser in his 30s but by that time it was too late and probably would have been on 150 caps.

If I was Rassie I would not pick Sasha and make a statement that he needs to prove he is a team player and that the boks don't need him. We have Manie, Pollard and Hendrikse, all can do his job.

I would leave him in the cold for 2025, he still has 2026 to come back then be part of the build up in 2027

Why would say something like that?? Don’t be naive, Rassie knew about his injury and still opted to play him…

Besides being injured and missing all the game time, all the rehab, is lesson enough….

So he can make a better decision in the future that will benefit him and the team.

Sacha is a Great Talent that will only get better with time. We can’t afford losing him in 25, he must gain more experience….

Very short sighted In trying to punish humility into him…

I hope not. I wanna see him playing for the Boks for at least the next decade.

Very old school Corn….to me the difference with Sacha is he wasn’t trying to justify his selection, he wanted to compete. That fiery nature may lead him to a few unwise choices as a youngster, but ultimately it makes for a winner.

Stupid post.

Full of dumb comparisons.

Let's just hope that Sacha doesn't suffer that oppressive "game plan" coaching that Saffa coaches like so much.

Not allowing him to play his natural game would be a crime.

Spot on Moz this post by King is poor and baseless

Sacha covered his injury as he was so desperate to play - at 21 he is hardly going to be thinking his hidden injury could be a liability to the team

He is a sensational talent that will be a Bok star for the next decade

Wh at I di not derstand is te tndency io nake doomsday forcasts about players.    F irst of all I posted a video about  Sacha/s recery from injury training and from that it is clear he is much stronger built than the other players mentioned by KC - bu of he players mentioned/

The players he mentioed is a farce as well.    Goosenn was ideed an injury proned player  and he was ubfirtunate in that regard.   Cipriani was  not really known from suffering from rugby injuries - but from a motor while drunk and crashed with a taxi and being hit by a  bus when drunk as well.   He had youthful promise - but in the end failed as a rugby player diue to depression,   ,

O"Connor - probbaly was he best of the 4 players mentioned and I watched him playing rugby many tiimes.   I cannt remember him being injured in matches,   He was in fact borne in SA and his parents moved to Australia.   However - his conduct off the rugby fioed was a horror story - and he faded out from rugby  because he had the wrong friends that helped him fiurther down e drain when it came to rugby.   Alcohol and drug abuse  do not go hand-in-hand  in being a good enough rugby player,

Cooper was also in and out player in he Aussie team - also on the short list as a player whose conduct off he field had much to do with his rgby career - cannot emember him being injury-prone,

I don't think any of the four players mentioned had he ball sense and skills Feinberg-Mngomesulu had displayed as an under 20 player and so far in his frnchise  ad et careerm   . He is a class above the 4 players mentioned by KC.
