Jake back to selecting an under strength side

White should have seen Erasmus balls up with choosing a poor squad to play the Pumaa and prevented that problem. So he does not learn from Erasmus iro how rugby should be played - but he cannot help himself to do the opposite to what he imagines Erasmus would have done
If you are going to rotate players then at least have your best players on the bench as a safety
These coaches all speak shit telling everyone that there is no such thing as an A and B side within their squad
Dave on the powwitive iotive side was the match was played in a rainstorm - comditions playes are not accustomed too and the starting scrummie Burger looked to me to be a promising player.
Last week I saw problems of a negative nature during the second half of the match last week - and the same happened in the second half of today/s maich.
I must admit I did not understand some and the ref's decisions that benifitted Scarlets.
I don't even think it is the players but same yet again. The bulls can't put teams away in the last quarter. This happens to them every season. They lost to Glasgow even though they were ahead. They run out of ideas and revert to type, smash smash smash smash and one off runners that get picked off. No strike or pressure play.
Scarlett used Rassie ball. Wide high balls to pressure on catchers, kicked for corners and then know how to surge up the field where as the bulls tried to run everything.
Then, there are almost two leagues within a league. Way to many matches and teams simple never put their best team out. They simply can not keep it up for such a long season.
I wish rugby would learn from the NFL.
You only need 17 games all season to get the most over 18 weeks. It used to be 16, 8 at home and 8 away. Then their are the play offs which can lead for a few more games. They can also play 3 games only as warm up games.
When will rugby learn less is more.
I remembered when I stayed in America with a family of football lovers. They'll start college football early and those stadiums are packed, then he regular season start. These players train for months to be at their peak.
Imagine we had that in Rugby, we could have college football or u23, then URC and then Internationals.
These franchises play 8 games at home and stadiums are packed just under 5 months.

What the hell does hat mean? Erasmus tried to change the traditional way the Springboks played ten men Rugby since 1992 and his appointment of Brown was aimed at that as well.
The problem wih being unsuccessful im scrinng tries is not solved - but playing ten man rugby and the limitation of backlinn attacking play was for years used by the Bulls with limited success. White wiil not change it,

Two leagues within a league, what are you talking about?
Leinster put out their best team against Benetton and Munster.

I'm not sure what issue you with a 18 match regular season that the URC currently has.?

The French Top 14 would argue otherwise, well attended and has bi g TV viewing numbers and its regular season is 26 matches before the playoffs.
