….came when they had a man advantage and the Scots had closed the gap to 4points. Kinghorn slipped a dangerous kick up the right flank, Willie had to scramble back without support inside our 22 and Kinghorn was quickly there. There was no SA breakdown support, if Kinghorn contested the ball a turnover or a penalty was on. But instead, incredibly he belly flopped on Willie conceding a crucial penalty.

After that the Bok scrum took charge. If these NH teams are really going to challenge the Boks and ABs they will need to be more professional. These close tests don’t allow for Amateurish mistakes like Kinghorn’s or Englands failure to take the kickoff against Oz when they were ahead with seconds left on the clock.

The NH sides have been poor. England so far the best of a bad bunch despite not winning anything, but without Marcus Smith's influence I don't think they would even have been in with a shout against Aus. Scotty couldn't even get over what sounds like an error ridden, disjointed Bok side with a distinct B-team flavour. Wales doesn't even bear talking about.
