Bit late for a fucking preview

The next round of games will be forgone conclusions.

I'll only be watching the England game to see more of Smith, who is quickly becoming a big favourite of mine.

Plum, why would I be kidding ? ;)

Marcus Smith...obviously.

Feb 12, 2025, 00:14

Ha ha ha ! I think Fin has the 10 shirt from now on though…..

Feb 12, 2025, 06:31

I hope not.

I think Borthwock played him at 15 to give France pause for thought with their DuPont kicking game. Marcus makes things happen and they wanted that to be in the Frog's minds.

But keeping him at 15 would be a mistake in my book. He's an amazing playmaker. He blocks the right basses and has great passing skills, a nuggety defender...wonderful tactical awareness, and make sublime piercing runs.

I hinestly believe he would be wanted at 15.

Also, I watched the Ireland/England game back. Marcus played superbly and England should have won that game were it not for Murley.

As I have it, you guys should have beat both the best Euro teams already this year.

Unpopular opinion, England are the best NH side right now, and the team with the most room to improve.

Fin smith did a pretty good job at 10 and deserves another chance….and Marcus plays a solid game at 15 where his playmaker skills are still available.

Plum….I think we’re stuck with the two Smith’s at 10 and 15 now.

Borthwick certainly sees Marcus there whilst Furbank is missing.
