Where most people miss out on - especially Mozart - is that attacking in the modern game includes incorporating the forwards - especially the losies, but also players like Marx as well - in combination with the backs in attacking play. Examples are both tries scored in the 2019 WC final - Marx was involved in scoring of the first try and Du Toit the second try. . Stick knows nothing about that as well, so his participating in coaching in future will be very, very limited.
Erasmus as very wise when in 2018 negotiated his contract as Director of Rugby in 2018 on the issue of coaching appointments. At the time he insisted that SA RU shall only appoint coaching staff when and if they are recommended by him as Director of Rugby.
How is Nienaber doing for his present club? I think he would be much better than both Meyer and Coetzee who were fired by their respective clubs based on gross incompetence to avoid the near destruction of the two clubs they coached. Remember - Mozart in four years
once made some mild criticism of Meyer in one posting. When Erasmus was appointed - he wrote on site that SARU should rather have retained Coetzee as coach than to appoint Erasmus. Since then Mozart continued with his attacks on Erasmus on a daily basis. What a farce.

Rassie has stepped down as Director and will take on the head coaching role having signed on until 2027 which is brilliant news for Bok rugby
Stick is backs coach
Davids is forwards coach
Human is scrum coach
Tony Brown is the attack coach
Flannery the defence coach
So Rassie has freshened up his coaching team with the addition of Brown and Flannery. Brown comes with a big wrap and Flannery was one of Rassie’s assistants at Munster
Question is, what will Stick do now that Brown is in charge of the attack? I guess the Brown inclusion evidences how much of a token selection Stick is.
