Been using it for years. My apologies for not sharing, I thought posters were aware of this excellent resource.

Arendse sitting right at the top of all time try ratio for the Boks.

7% better than Gerber.

...but he only scores run-ins.

Weird that try ratio means nothing but it literally has its own category, and when you look at the list, the top players are high up on it. Almost as though it is actually a meaningful metric. Go figure.

My guess is both Aendse's tries on the weekend would also be considered run-ins.

Egg Chasers is absolutely correct. Arendse is a rugby cheat code.

A future hall of famer.

Well prove to me that most of Arendse ‘s test tries have been simple run in’s

The floor is yours

"Well prove to me that most of Arendse ‘s test tries have been simple run in’s"

Are you asking me to prove your point?

Check your spelling

What matters is numbers and, as it stands, Arendse's numbers are the best in Bok history.

Jun 10, 2024, 10:20

I agree Arendse is a bloody amazing player never going to deny that. He is easily one of the best wings in the game

He is obviously super skilful but also as hard as nails punching way above his weight. The fact that he is fearless also helps

Together with Kolbe we are blessed to have such class out wide - refreshing is the fact that they rely on skill not brawn to beat their opponents

Jun 10, 2024, 11:48

Now, back to what I said months ago...before I had to show all of you his numbers.

Arendse is ahead of Kolbe for me.

A rugby cheat code!

Jun 10, 2024, 13:48

Nope Arendse is not ahead of Kolbe - too tight to call. Kolbe has scored the better test tries, Arendse has the better strike rate but many where hardly skill based

Jun 10, 2024, 18:24

Skill is in the vision. Arendse sees the opportunity before other players do.  That makes some of the tries look easy…other players would need to beat tackles, when Arendse is already in the gaps.

Jun 10, 2024, 18:48

Not in the case of those easy test tries he has scored - the majority of which have been easy run in’s
