Madness that on current form Roos can’t crack the squad only the standby list

Disappointed to see Reinach, Mostert and the return of Jean Kleyn when we have better younger options at lock like Cobus Wiese and Ruben v Heerden

Good to see young Zac Porthen included - a great young prospect at tighthead

Oct 20, 2025, 12:48

The media labels it an "exciting" squad when it's just same old same old.

Oct 20, 2025, 12:56

Yeah true Rassie could have been a little more adventurous especially considering we are playing Japan, Italy and Wales

Would like to have seen the likes of Seb de Klerk, Jurenzo Julius, David Kriel, Papier, AH Venter, Cobus Wiese, Ruben v Heerden, Vincent Tsituka and Roos included

Oct 20, 2025, 13:25

We have depth that other countries could only dream of having.

Oct 20, 2025, 14:02

Yeah we have so much depth - I really feel for those that are so deserving yet fail to be acknowledged, no more so than Roos, David Kriel and Ruben v Heerden

Oct 20, 2025, 14:05

Dave

I agree with you - but would like to add De Wet of he Bulls to that listm I think D e Wet is the ebst crummie I have seen this year in SA tems.

I believe Skicerling in the URC matches performed better than for instance Klein and he is still younger than most of the other locks,

"Yeah we have so much depth - I really feel for those that are so deserving yet fail to be acknowledged, no more so than Roos, David Kriel and Ruben v Heerden"

Oh, i thought these Boks and their depth were no different to a decade ago...

Oct 20, 2025, 14:25

We’ve always had depth you fucking loser

You are like a fucking parasite and the boards biggest suck up

Where’s your bumbchum Moffie - are you missing him you fucking wanker?

Oct 20, 2025, 14:26

Mike Schickerling is good but Ruben v Heerden is harder

Oct 20, 2025, 14:32

Good that Esterhuisen is there to shut the Crazy Uncle up yet again:)

Its a pity Carlu Sadie didn’t go to the Bulls. He decided to stay at Bordeaux Begles for another season.

He is the second strongest prop in the World after Wilco, in my opinion.

Imagine Wilco starting with Carlu coming of the bench or Visa versa. Scary….better option than Zachary Porthen for sure.

Ah, right, so we don't more depth now than we did before?

The general consensus is that we do, but I'm guessing(because you say so) there is no difference between our depth now and 10 years ago, right, Dawie?

Oct 20, 2025, 14:36

Honestly... Plum why are you looking for attention?

I really dont think Davis said anything wrong? He literally just said he feels sorry for players who missed out... but its because we have so much depth in certain positions.

What did he say wrong?

Bored?

Oct 20, 2025, 14:39

I'm just trying to clarify...last week he told us that Rassie doesn't have an edge due to more depth...because apparently the addition of the black and coloured population to our playing ranks hasn't added any more depth.

Oct 20, 2025, 14:40

The only one on this forum, always looking for attention is Davis:)

Oct 20, 2025, 14:43

It is a strange tour schedule. Can't say that this is anything new other than Porthen whom I hardly know.

The only two games we need to be up for are Ireland and Wales. Hell have to rotate his team but against who.

Jap, maybe a bldend with a view to start bets 23 against France, then off to Italy followed by Ireland and then wrapping up against Wales. Wales being the one where the B team plays.

Just don't want the players to come in cold

"The only two games we need to be up for are Ireland and Wales. Hell have to rotate his team but against who."

You mean Ireland and France, right?

Oct 20, 2025, 15:32

Buttplug - get this into your fucking ignorant head

I love making player lists shock, shock

At the time the likes of Jean, Schalk etc were playing, the number of players featuring on my lists was not less than now

So get this into your dumb head - we have always had great depth in SA rugby

Your rugby ignorance is very boring on a rugby board
