Mark your calendars, rugby enthusiasts! The rush for Springboks' tickets is about to kick off as seats for their three home Nations Championship Tests become available next week. With the countdown hitting the 100-day mark, SA Rugby has confirmed that the Boks will open their season against England at Ellis Park on July 4. The reigning world champions will also clash with Scotland at Loftus Versfeld on July 11, and Wales at Kings Park on July 18.

Tickets are set to drop from 10 am on Thursday, April 2, across various price points: starting at R450 for the England game, R375 for Scotland, and R250 for Wales. Fans can snag their tickets through Ticketmaster, ensuring they don't miss out on the action.

The anticipation is palpable, according to SA Rugby CEO Rian Oberholzer, who expressed his excitement about the upcoming international fixtures.

“The excitement is really picking up for the Springboks’ international season with the announcement of the alignment camps and the 100-day countdown,”

Oberholzer stated, highlighting the special treat in store for fans with these matchups. England’s tour marks their first return to South African soil since 2018, Scotland's visit comes after a 12-year hiatus, and the last time the Springboks hosted Wales was in 2022.

Addressing recent concerns about ticket pricing and availability, Oberholzer revealed changes aimed at better accommodating fans.

“We’ve changed the model to try and accommodate as many spectators as possible in the stadiums, while still fulfilling our need to fund our national teams and grow the game at all levels,”

he explained.

For those eager to get a head start, tickets for the Boks’ season opener against the Barbarians in Gqeberha on June 20 are already up for grabs, with prices starting at a friendly R250.

As the Nations Championship draws nearer, the excitement builds not just for the fierce confrontations on the field but also for the vibrant atmosphere that only rugby can offer. Get ready to experience the thrill live from the stands!
