Boks by 40 points.

Final Score 62-22

I expect this will be the Boks best performance so far this year.
The forwards are going to be ready after 2 weeks of preparation and now starting with more first-choice players. (based on form). Players are going to be more battle-hardened and on home soil.

My only concern is the midfield with Delande and Kriel.
I would have started Delande at 13 if AM was going to be on the bench and start Esterhuizen at 12.

I expect the Springbok half-back pair to get the backline running, and with Leroux cutting the backline, we should see some skip passes to get lethal Kolbe and Arendense into the game.

It all depends on how Los Pumas defend, how they rock up on attack, and Player 16. It has very little to do with the Boks. Los Pumas are a jekyll and Hyde team. If they Rock up with intensity it'll be anything but easy. If they defend passively and with low intensity as they sometimes do, the start padding will begin. We won't see anything constrictive on attack to signify improvement from the Boks.

Usually, AR prefers to target NZ during the RC  as a victory against them weighs more.

The expectation is a minimally committed AR.

The game that matters is AU vs NZ as NZ has shown signs they are bringing something new to the pitch in order to compete with the North. Their rivalry with SA rugby is past history to them, they have theirs eyes on the North now.

The ABs have picked arguably their best team for their test tomorrow.......... meanwhile we're still experimenting, fiddling with combinations, not knowing whether two of our key players, Pollard & Kolisi, will be available, & even if they're, whether they will be match fit. Regardless of this w/end's result, hopefully we'll pick our best next week in Argentina.

The best would be that Argies rock up here with vengeance and give us a tough game….I think if we play positive Rugby , meaning Forwards and Backline use there opportunities and score + our defence must be top, then we will win…my worry is also our midfield.

Hmm, since the boks disastrous implosions against the all blacks, I've lost all interest in the rugby championship or the rest of the season. Not even sure if I'll tune into the World Cup.

The boks coaches are going through their processes and have some pre-conceived ideas of what they want to do. But the All Blacks have completely exposed their lack or readiness.

The boks have made the same mistakes with player selection, time and time again. Yes, the games were close but had it not been with poor selections, the better players would have gotten us over the line.

I think the boks will win, but pretty munch like last year, it will be a boring match.

I will only know how good Australia are based on the results agains Aus vs AB.

Terrible to see poor kingcorny so upset. The wee abs got beaten over 60 minutes of play but all he can think about is the first 20 minutes.

Nothing will comfort the poor guy.

Hopefully a few good Boks wins will lead to some sort of recovery but how long will it last I wonder.

I think the Boks will get a good win no matter which Argies team turns up.

Very powerful pack barring Orie  and good backline. Nothing wrong with Allende and Kriel is better than most give him credit for.

It quite amazing to see how a board psychosis develops. Somebody get a deep dislike to some player. A few join him. They plug away for months convincing one here and one there. After a couple of years they are mostly totally convinced some poor Bok is totally hopeless.

There are exceptions of course as not everybody here can have their minds changed by nonsense. Saffex for one. He knows Allende is a class act and won't be budged.

They feed off eachother and gradually move further and further away from reality.

Hahahahaha is very funny to see happening.

We may have seen a slightly better performance against New Zealand with some better selections, but don't kid yourself, New Zealand were emphatically better than the Boks from start to finish. With better reffing, and one less blunder for the Kolbe's soft try, and we score zero tries in that game. Not to mention on another day our ragged defence on the outside is exposed heavily. A more confident All Black side would have severely punished us for it! That said, they did gain in confidence and finished the second half with a bit of swagger.

Against Argentina, if they play to their ability, we'll struggle. They are man for man better than us in the backs, and their pack is not inferior. Our leaky defence needs to sharpen up. We rank bottom of the RC for tackle efficiency, and near bottom for scrums and bottom for lineouts. Some food for thought.

So no match predictions?  No matter what the score is, or how well the Boks play - you will write it off as a poor performance -and down to Argentina being bad, rather than the Boks being good.

Jul 28, 2023, 15:39

It isn't no matter what. It depends what happens. I don't know what to expect from Argentina. They are a very difficult side to predict, as they are so inconsistent. If the Boks play well, I'll say so. What I do differently to you is I read play, and I put performances in context. Big difference. Had you done this too, you wouldn't have made the Willemse/Libbok, and Marx gaffs! Something to think about.

Listen to this fuckwit Doos - the Argie backs are man for man better than the Boks

What a load of shit, what a joke

Fuck me you are such a prick

Saddex, best keep the pacifier in your mouth, or have Mrs Searle change your nappy. There's a good lad.

Boks by 15.

Jul 29, 2023, 10:35

It could very well be. These are the kinds of games that Erasputin lives off of, games against opponents who don't punish the poor Boks like they should be. This extends the myth, and allows the likes of Saddex and Shark to push the narrative of great play that simply wasn't there. That's my gut feeling of what'll happen. Then I have to sit them in front of the chalkboard and educate them again.

I note Deus doesn't talk about the try by Kolbe that want given and how close to being a try that DuToit was. Its called bias.

Now he wants to discredit Marx!

Deus doesn't have a grasp of the game.

Jul 29, 2023, 11:11

I don't have a grasp on the game? Lets go through any part of that game Beanbag. It's always the same, insults with no substance, as it's the same faces who themselves have no grasp of the game. When the bigger discussions take place, they can't hold their own at all.
