England in the meantime dominating Aus, 10-0 after 29 minutes.

Nov 01, 2025, 17:56

Damn, I kinda want to see how the Aus/Eng game plays out. Might be more interesting than the Bok game. Probably won't be able to watch both at the same time.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:08

Twickers looks empty.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:09

Evening chaps.

Welcome Chipper

Nov 01, 2025, 18:12

Rain...nice test for Sacha

Nov 01, 2025, 18:13

Meh, rain. I'll be watching England/Aus with one eye.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:16

Gonna be along night for the Blossoms as the Boks put some easy points in the board through Kolisi.

Sacha slotting the conversion from the corner

Nov 01, 2025, 18:17

Reporting for duty

Nov 01, 2025, 18:17

Maul try, zzz.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:18

Marked present, Moz.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:18

Japan making lots of mistakes here.

Interested to see what Eddie has planned

Nov 01, 2025, 18:19

Good counter ruck Marx wins the Boks the ball.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:19

Uh oh….a scrum!

Nov 01, 2025, 18:20

Hooker is a monster in the air!

Nov 01, 2025, 18:20

Magnificent by Mostert

Nov 01, 2025, 18:21

Kwotalisi fucks up

Nov 01, 2025, 18:21

Lol that scrum a few minutes ago...one worries about the safety of Japanese players when they're this badly outmatched

Nov 01, 2025, 18:22

Hooker is so good under the high ball.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:23

Lomp sporting a new look, almost didn't recognised him

Nov 01, 2025, 18:23

Marx looks like he's getting back to his best

Nov 01, 2025, 18:24

Sacha doing Sacha things

Nov 01, 2025, 18:24

Zulu boy does it again, man, this guy seems to always finds a way

Nov 01, 2025, 18:24

Sacha does it all himself again.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:25

Yeah King. He makes something from absolutely nothing.

...and the Kiwis questioned us comparing him to Carter.

They won't for long

Nov 01, 2025, 18:25

Lood got that military haircut going yeah. Well, not really. But it's different.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:26

Is De Allende playing today?

Nov 01, 2025, 18:26

Both tries because of Sacha competing

Nov 01, 2025, 18:27

Useless Dud run

Nov 01, 2025, 18:27

All the Japanese guys are called Toshiba. Brothers?

Nov 01, 2025, 18:27

The little 10 stops DDA.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:29

Zuluboy

Nov 01, 2025, 18:29

Sacha is from another planet.

Can we all agree on that?

Nov 01, 2025, 18:29

And the ball stops with DDA again. No meters gained, just standing in a tackle while the defence resets. Sacha scores again.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:29

fabulous try

Nov 01, 2025, 18:30

Ah, Zulu is human, misses kick

Nov 01, 2025, 18:30

Ox down...I would have rested him today we can't afford for him to be injured in this tour

Nov 01, 2025, 18:31

Ox looks rough, not a good sign

Nov 01, 2025, 18:31

Jap 13 dropped the ball there, needed to go in on Sacha, he was never going to pass with a 4 to beat on his inside.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:31

Ox going off. Let's hope it's nothing serious

Nov 01, 2025, 18:33

I wanna see Porthen make a few runs. He has serious pace

Nov 01, 2025, 18:34

Fuck Dud, dumb chip to giraffe mostert

Nov 01, 2025, 18:34

Why does DDA kick that?

I really can't understand how this guys plays

Nov 01, 2025, 18:34

And now DDA gets smashed back about 50m

Nov 01, 2025, 18:36

Lots of kicking.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:37

The last 30 of this game is gonna very tough for the poor Japanese.

There's been no parity early and it's only gonna get worse

Nov 01, 2025, 18:37

Nice run by kwotalisi up the touch

Nov 01, 2025, 18:38

No 2 Jap got creamed

Nov 01, 2025, 18:40

Sacha with the try saving intercept. So calm.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:41

Begging the question - what would the score have been without Sacha. Nothing's happened outside of him.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:41

Beautiful intercept by Sacha under pressure.

He's 22 and it already feels cliche talking about how good he is.

Japan applying some pressure of their own now...nice to see

Nov 01, 2025, 18:42

Hooker solid in the tackle forces the turnover.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:43

Bit of a kickathon. Would have been a shit boring match so far without Sacha.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:43

It has been the Sasha show again. Delande is like a lost fart in the middle field

Nov 01, 2025, 18:45

It's a brilliant game, Pakie....DDA already has a 9.5 rating.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:46

Japan will have to be more accurate in their passing in these conditions.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:46

It's a brilliant game, Pakie....DDA already has a 9.5 rating.

Plum you're on a club warning for displaying batshit for brains.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:47

Sorry Paks.

I was trying to be like the other rugby journalists

Nov 01, 2025, 18:48

The impression was too accurate. Make it 8.5 next time.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:50

Yeah, easy penalty try.

Gosh, and a yellow...wins.

Enough time in the half to Sacha to score two more tries

Nov 01, 2025, 18:52

That disbelieving Jap 9 is contemplating another Pearl Harbor.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:53

Esterhizzun has been shot so far….somuch for the shot spreaders on this site.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:54

So, 40 minutes gone, and zero actual backline play.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:54

England smashing Aus, 25-7 right now.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:55

Kicking, mauling and Sacha sums up the half.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:58

Sasha needs an inside centre as his wingman who can run off him to provide more options.

Instead, we have the cart horse Delande. Where is Willemse

Nov 01, 2025, 18:58

Willemse is injured.

Nov 01, 2025, 18:59

Wiese with the steal to close out the half...Sacha casually gains 50m for the lineout...mail marches up the field...nothing much coming from that.

DDA finishes the half by pissing me one more time...

There were 4 Boks joing a ruck there a few phases before the end of the half, no pressure on the ball...and somehow DDA decides to join in the ruck as well, adding absolutely nothing.

He just annoys the hell out of me.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:03

My feed for the first time in years is totally shot….I’ll watch this later on record.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:03

Passing thought….sub Dud off and put Hooker at 12.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:08

Japan defense is solid, quick line speed. Boks forwards not as dominant. Very quick to close them down.

Don't know what Dud and Jessica is offering. Ball is limp by the time it gets to the wings.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:10

DDA plays like a flanker in the center position. His first instincts are not that of a back.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:10

https://rugbystreams.me/south-africa-vs-japan-live/union-internationals/stream-1

Nov 01, 2025, 19:13

Passing thought….sub Dud off and put Hooker at 12.

That will be a good call.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:16

Oh FFS what a waste of time reviewing that. Kolisi bent at the waist, still a yellow.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:18

my word, DDA made some ground

Nov 01, 2025, 19:18

This is one of those "paint drying" games. DDA tractors a few yards.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:19

How rg gets the ball out it the tackle is beyond me

Nov 01, 2025, 19:19

Esterhuizen on at flank.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:20

You watch Sacha and his support play is just so damn good. He's always aware and always looking to continue the momentum

Nov 01, 2025, 19:20

The scrum immediately swings away from Esterhuizen's side as he piles on the power. What a unit.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:20

"This is one of those "paint drying" games. DDA tractors a few yards."

Why are we not running our backs???

Nov 01, 2025, 19:21

Sacha initiates another try, Wilco over.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:22

Excellent try. Finally some interplay, obviously sparked by Sacha but some nice hands there

Nov 01, 2025, 19:24

Nice stuff Japan, Hooker getting back for the saving tackle.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:24

Smith with a silly penalty there diving in the man in the ground

Nov 01, 2025, 19:25

Hooker has serious pace. He missed the tackles initially but still got back there to fix his mistake

Nov 01, 2025, 19:27

Japan scores off the quick tap.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:28

Japan get one back.

Can't say his name but it's sounds like a fast motorbike

Nov 01, 2025, 19:29

DDA bouncing his way through some tackles, but it slows down the momentum so much as half the motion is sideways. Turnover at the breakdown.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:30

Williams and Manie on now...

Nov 01, 2025, 19:31

You watch this game and you have to wonder what DDA offers that Hooker doesn't?

I really don't get it. Yeah. I'm talking about DDA a lot...but it's bloody perplexing why he's there

Nov 01, 2025, 19:32

Not a massive Jessie fan but I like his ref conversations. Clear and concise

Nov 01, 2025, 19:32

Haha AE scores...

this why Mike loves him so much

Nov 01, 2025, 19:33

Esterhuizen scores from flank. Everything he touches turns to gold.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:34

Officials conspiring against Esterhuizen to disallow the try. That's what happens when you're too good, everyone hating.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:35

Try cancelled...dammit

Nov 01, 2025, 19:35

But Arendse quickly scores.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:35

Loose bounce gives Arendse a try.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:37

Mostert has had a good game, never far from the ball.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:38

Jesus, kick, kick, kick. I know the conditions aren't great but the Boks have shown so little enterprise.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:38

Excellent Arendse with the jackal

Nov 01, 2025, 19:39

40-7 up and we're still booting the shit out of it.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:39

Paks, with DDA and Kriel in midfield, it's always gonna be kick kick kick

Nov 01, 2025, 19:40

Now Andre scores!!!

Best 12 in the world!!! Even when he's playing at flank

Nov 01, 2025, 19:40

Esterhuizen over this time. Champions won't be denied.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:40

Esterhuizen over this time. Champions won't be denied.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:43

You watching the ABs later, Pakie?

Nov 01, 2025, 19:44

Jesse maybe shouldn't complain about high hits while grabbing guys around their necks to clear them from the rucks.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:45

You watching the ABs later, Pakie?

I'll try, yeah.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:45

Kolbe now does the solo thing to give Arendse another.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:45

Arendse has 23 scores in 28 games...that's some strike rate.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:46

Is it at 10pm our time?

Nov 01, 2025, 19:47

Great take and offload, Libbok.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:48

Yep. 22:10

Nov 01, 2025, 19:50

More kicking...to quote Dawie...big yawn

Nov 01, 2025, 19:50

Kolbe now kicks it away.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:51

Even when Esterhuizen loses it, he makes sure to lose it backwards. Champion.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:51

Damn it's looking uglier and uglier

Nov 01, 2025, 19:52

"Even when Esterhuizen loses it, he makes sure to lose it backwards. Champion."

hahaha

Its why Mike loves him

Nov 01, 2025, 19:52

"Even when Esterhuizen loses it, he makes sure to lose it backwards. Champion."

hahaha

Its why Mike loves him

Nov 01, 2025, 19:53

Eh, Kwagga again with his hand on the floor with that turnover.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:54

5 minutes to go...

MOTM?

Probably Sacha

Nov 01, 2025, 19:54

Plum

Haha AE scores...

Always thought he has the makings of a good loose forward.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:55

DDA actually passes wide, incredible.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:56

DDA doing some decent work at the end of the game

Nov 01, 2025, 19:56

And Manie boots it away pointlessly. Loses 50m.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:56

...and Manie kicks it backwards haha

Nov 01, 2025, 19:57

Why. The. Fuck. are we kicking the ball away leading 54-7 against a minnow?

Nov 01, 2025, 19:57

Libbok has been pretty handy, great take, feeds Arendse who puts Kriel away.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:58

Kaptein Kriel closes it out after a nice take by Manie who feeds Kriel before he gives to Kriel for a simple score

Nov 01, 2025, 19:59

Arendse apparently got MOTM.

Nov 01, 2025, 19:59

Manie now loses it in contact.

Nov 01, 2025, 20:00

Fucking hell TMO, it's minute 81, just let it go.

Nov 01, 2025, 20:00

Not pretty but a massive score in the end...

I'll be back for the AB game Paks

Nov 01, 2025, 20:03

Yeah good win, easy pickings. See ya later.

Nov 01, 2025, 20:03

Japan going for it but the Boks steal the lineout...Manie kicks it out.

Game over

61-7

Nov 01, 2025, 20:24

Just a bot of history. The Sprigboks since 2015 played 3 matches against Japan:-

  1. in the RWC in 2015
  2. in the RWC in 2019
  3. Today

There is one fact that makes me think vack a decade:-

Head coaches Meyer and Jones

Head coaches - Erasmus and Joseph

Head coaches - Erasmus and Jones

In the 2015 test Japan wonm he match because Jones outwitted Meyer totally and he Dpringboks lost the match.

In todays match South Africa on by 54 points, So what does the above confirms. Only that Meyer was a non-compus-netus-nincumpoop as a coach,

Nov 01, 2025, 20:29

Our Lucky coach just got so lucky this match!

Liked the look of Esterhuizen as a loose forward.

If we lose Ox it's huge. Losing Wessels already!

Kolbe did very well at 15. Brilliant player.

Mostert did a job for us. Snyman was very good as was Marx and Wiese. Lood very good re tackles.

If Willemse is back next week end Hooker might be on the bench.

Nov 01, 2025, 20:49

Wiese looks to have been getting some extra coaching from Vermeulen in the breakdown. Two great steals that had was very reminiscent of Thors.
