Willemse's break shows that he could be a fantastic inside center with more game time.
If he was outside Sasha for the Boks, or even Libbok he would be dangerous.

Willemse has the X Factor in him. He had a briallant game at 10 yesterday but I would still play him at 15.

Jozi is so busy, was there last year. I do like the surrounding bush areas. Sabi Sands, Kruger . Bloemhof a bit further away.

Nothing you said actually happened on the field and his performance was actually very good. So stop spreading BS on site and stick to the facts.
Although Hooker is a prospect he is not even close to start for the Boks at 12. Willemse is a established Full back, obvious because Rassie picks him there.
Esterhuisen is a established 12 that still has a lot of game time left in him. Plumtree also clearly sees his potential that’s why he is the regular starter.
The only player I agree with is David Kriel which is a beast at 12. He will be a worthy candidate for the 12 spot.

I ae watched every match Estrhuizen played for the Spring boks and he failed them in each test. That was proved in -
* the first five tests in 2018 when Esterhuizen played when he made 22 tackles and missed 8 as against he similar figure in the case where De Allende made 42 tackles and missed 5;
* in the 18 tests in which he played in - he never scored a try or contributed to such tries the Springboks scored;
* After being tested by Erasmus he never was included in the 2019 RWC squad in 2019 and when Kriel was injured Erasmus called up Willemse ahead of Esterhuizen.
Wih due respect to you and other repetitive critics of Erasmus I believe that Erasmus jknows more about player performance evaluation than you and his other site critics do, He often gave Estehuizen oportunities to become a test regular - also in 2024 to see whether Esterhuizen would fit into an atatcking backline where fowards provide the gaps tat enable scoing of tries, Esterhuizen failed tat test miserably and even in yesterdays match Kolisi scored a try - while Esterhuizen produced nothing/
Fact is that in the last two tests I looked yesterday where Esterhuizen stationed himself and why he was not anywhere near the defensiv line when in both maches he was not, So I ie carefuly at where he was when the Glasgow backline atacked the Sharks and lookd out secufucally where Eterhuizen was when defending. In two cases he was standing in the wing position and in 2 cases he was stading n the blind side of the maul - twoth the Glasgow ws lind up on the other side of the breakdowns. By watching him in the match carefully Esterhuizen made himself going AWOL when it comes to defense/
I also saw him making 3 poor passs and knocking on at least three balls during the game/ The one knock-onzs occured when he tried to make a turnover in pssessiom and insteadof recoveing the ball and he knocked it on instead,

After his failure in the Portugal test in July an the reecnt RC matches I do not think Erasmus will select him for the November squad. It is not what think will happen - it s for Erasmus and his fellow coaches to actually decide on squad and team selections 0even though they may r ay not gt inputs from the framchise coaches and from the Bulls real owners.

I loked at the Shrks match 3 times and found that my observation on the match was 100% correct when dealing with Estehuizen's perrmance,, if you watch the match again - you would find to see wht I saw as well.
However - we will see what Erasmus really thinks about sterhuizen whn the November test squad is announced and we will se wheher Esterhuizen is in the squad and allowed to play in any of te three ests to be played, I think the 3 centers will be DeAllende, Am and Kriel with Willemse being the alternative utility backline player that will be used as inside center as well. . .

8 minutes to go, winning by 2 points; They get a penalty on halfway...and they go for a quick tap, only to lose the ball. Literally the worst possible option in that scenario.
Luckily cool heads prevailed a couple minutes later and this time they went for 3.
