Faf wasn't very good at all. It isn't the frequency of kicks as much as the quality. Every aspect of his game is technically flawed. He was never a technically sound 9. We don't need him. We don't need Libbok either. I'd rather have Willie, who outplayed Libbok against the All Blacks at 10, and will always be better.
YAWN
However, the intensity and speed he offers at the base of the ruck is phenomenal.
Glad to see that I'm not the only one who's noticed.
He's game changing ability is his biggest asset .

Grant Williams kicks much less than Faff does, even when starting (not just off the bench).
So surely the aimless kicking is not part of the game plan.
Faff had a good game, especially in the 2nd half.
However, he kicked numerous aimless kicks that never allowed the chasers to apply pressure.
Williams needs to calm down a bit. He threw a wild pass that went out of touch. However, the intensity and speed he offers at the base of the ruck is phenomenal.
