The Bulls are playing great rugby at the moment.

They blew the final last year but got to it nonetheless.

Considering they should get to the final this year too, one has to wonder where all the Jake hate comes from?

It can't be down to performance because he seems to build teams up well wherever he goes. The Brumbies played great rugby under him and so did the Sharks(the best SA side while he was there). The Bulls are now easily our best side too.

It's like Jake is a headmaster in a world full of teacher-pals and the dividends are showing.

So do peeps hate him because he's so mean? Are the haters a little too woke for Jake?

I don't hate him, he moaned abit about the ref after the final last year but you could see how much the loss hurt him. At least you knew he really cared.

I see he can abit prickly interviews with the media. But he's far from the worst.

Jake the Snake is a good coach. The Brumbies played well under him. He should have stayed longer, and tried to get the Australian test team job.

The J'ate is more from South Africans, Stav.

Some just really can't stand him. I've never understood why.

And Visser, the best the Sharks have been in the last decade was when Jake was the coach....do you not remember how the Sharks lead the SA teams in SR before Akker had his run with the Lions?

He a good coach not a great one

He comes across as a sour prick but is mellowing with age - his emotional reaction to the passing of Cornal was touching as was having Everitt the Edinburgh coach over for a braai the night before the game

He deserves that URC Title and I hope the Bulls make it…..
