Appreciate you guys where probably focused on the Rugby Championship and Curry Cup final but a quick update on the results of the first round of the URC.

Edinburgh 31-33 Leinster

Cardiff 22-17 Zebre

Dragons 23-21 Ospreys

Munster 35-33 Connacht

Benetton 20-20 Scarlets

Ulster 20-19 Glasgow

Watched the Edinburgh v Leinster game and it was pretty decent game for a first game of the season. Edinburgh could have won it with better place kicking but Ben Healy had a bit of mare.

The other game I watched was Munster v Connacht and it was a cracker. 5 tries a piece with the lead changing hands multiple times.

All the games where competitive with the biggest winning margin being 5 points and all teams came away with some points on the log.

Stav

Thanks for the above.  The SA teams will start their campaigns this coming weekend.    Nobody could eb further away from the final score forecasts on Superbru.   I predicted he nnes - bar Dragons and Osprey whee I changed o forcast from a Dragons win to a Opreys win.

Where I was really totally wrong was the points dfferences nmvolved..   I will ahve o ay much closer attention to the torunament than I did in the past.
