Excrement and urine? Who is stronger? Who is better skilled? Can this side string more than two phases together before running out of ideas and brain power, or before they drop the ball? Saddex, this isn't the platform for your comedy routine.

How'd you like the Damian splat ball? Best in the world.
Doos no one gives a fuck what you think
Fuck off fly
Most of the older players mentioned held full time jobs, trained and played rugby in their own free time.
Acknowledge the difference prior to demeaning the old times for the new professional era that has come about plus some of the aids associated with todays pro players.
Yep some of those old times actually had skills, stamina and played for the love of the game.
That was when rugby was rugby.
The game today is far far better
Scrums and lineouts back then were a bloody joke
Watching Billy Beaumont handing out the medals I could not help but notice his diminutive size - he is the same height as our backs - Eben was literally a head taller and Billy was a Lions lock
He was 1.91m tall
What of Phil Nel... Captain of '37 victorious Boks.
Also College Old Boy,played for Natal whilst still at school.
Yes Oom Flip, still fish on Philip Nels farm, Philip Nel Dam and Dad's Dam in Greytown.
MCOB's are very proud of our rugby history, indeed it is a huge privilege to go to a school like that, where the real love of the game is cultivated...many great sportsmen in rugby, cricket and other sports and leaders in military, business and human activities.
Joel Stransky, Butch James and Jesse Kriel 3 world cups contributors. Not to mention the past of Keith Oxlee. In cricket, Jonty Rhodes, Jackie Mc Glew, Kevin Pietersen (England Captain) and many others.
Alan Paton was an old boy as well.
They taught us respect, humility, discipline and unity. The great and ordinary are all brothers and we all are united under the banners of great men. Many war hero's ...we might differ in our outlook but the values of truth and honesty
Tit, I hate to be the one to break it to you but if you're a product of Maritzburg College it must be a really crap school.
I mean that in the nicest possible way.
What a weak and stupid posting Rooiarse.
Maritzburg College, Durban High School, Michaelhouse, Hilton are some of the better schools in the country which would never accept a prick such as you as a student for three reasons.
Grade scores, sporting achievements. and class.
Suck it up.......loser.
You are a liar and lack any discernment , after all why would you bother to tell us how honest you are and contradict blatantly in the next paragraph that you know us members better than your own family and (friends) associates. Not every body is that stupid. You are pathetic. You would have not survived College. Your pedigree is lacking by your ugly cover up.
You missed HO de Villiers and Gert
Muller
I agree, the list is even longer. Old soldiers are actually tougher...they did this on their own, just sheer guts, love of the game, balanced life and God given talent without props and gimmicks. Give me Rocky Macianos, Joe Louis's and Roberto Duran's did it on their own without modern day tools. Men were tougher. Film actors like Paul Newman, John Wayne and Steve Mc Queen were real men compared to the wimps today. They were real. Just as common sense and wisdom were real and human and without the flaws with weak spots of artificial intelligence and synthetic assistance. Protective wear and concentrated training to become "machines".
Doc Craven was a true rugby lover, for what it was. Mr Rugby, Kitch and Mac were similar.
But we will never learn. I loved rugby more then and cricket far more.
If you understand the context of my drift. It's about the complete character, the balanced life and the whole man or woman. They were real and human. No quick fixes just human talent. Not manmade created supergods.

These stood out in their day, were they better, I don't know but I think I think tougher, the game was tougher, no interfering rules
