What a conundrum

May 21, 2024, 14:11

Not really as you keep counting Neinaber’s record as Rassie’s

May 21, 2024, 15:19

World Cup erasmus should spend more time with test match erasmus….then there won’t be such a huge chasm in between WC years.

May 21, 2024, 16:00

Mozart has you got nohing else to disucss on tis forum - other than attacks on Erasmus, Du Toit and  De Allende and in doing so becomes totally unhinged  and repetatiive and praise son gs about some players with iffy performances - making  a player like Mostert being a match-winner, while he in fact is lcky to be a fringe-player in the Springbok squad.

Repetative postings of the same BS will not change the situation at all.

May 21, 2024, 17:41

Mpower you should go find a knitting group to join

Your stupidity is nauseating

May 21, 2024, 17:54

So it’s stupidity to just state the fact that our win percentages drops considerably in between WC years….so it wouldn’t hurt to have a more stable win ratio right thru the season ?? Better check your nappy you wearing, as it might be full : )

May 21, 2024, 18:08

World Cup Erasmus 12 wins/2 losses. Regular test Erasmus 32 and 18…..64%…..pitiful with our player resources,

May 21, 2024, 18:12

Bullshit you are including the tests he was not physically present but a coach is judged on overall records and trophies - they don’t come better than Rassie’s record - no coach comes close - no coach has two WC’s - case closed right there on that point

May 21, 2024, 18:15

Nienaber  head coach WC record….6/1….same win ratio as ErasmusWC record. Nienaber as head coach regular test record 21/10…68%. Better. So if we exclude 2021 and 2022 when Nienaber was the putative coach, Eluckmiss is 16 and  9 or 64%. Not as good as Nienaber.

May 21, 2024, 18:25

Nienaber didn't coach any RWC matches without Rassie being there.

May 21, 2024, 18:31

Duh…..so Nienaber was what exactly?

May 21, 2024, 18:32

Moz you are making shit up - Neinaber had no WC, just like he is not the leading coaching force at Leinster right now - he is always the deputy

Who knows who did what….we already know that Dud Toit took over at the half in the English match, when Erasmus apparently was baffled.

May 21, 2024, 18:38

That’s a lie

May 22, 2024, 02:16

Nonsense it was posted on the Board, Pollard said they were just sitting there stunned at the half and then Dud Toit took charge and told the team to get their act together.

May 22, 2024, 10:25

You are completely lying about it - Pollard said fuck all other than it was a big thing that the big man, usually the silent one, said a line or two.

If you had actually watched Chasing the Sun 2 you will have realised that Rassie tore into the side at halftime against England - he told them they were lying to themselves about what they were doing

It was that ripping into the players that provoked PSDT into saying something

But as per usual your take is a load of utter rubbish with zero context or facts in place

Go watch Chasing the Sun 2 and come tell me Rassie was stumped for words at halftime

Imagine becoming the best coach SA have ever had not knowing what to say to his team at halftime in a WC semi

Give us a break Moz do you take us for fools?

May 22, 2024, 16:39

I never lie:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5D17L2SVnw

I quote Pollard: ‘it was pretty obvious, but nobody said it, it was pretty quiet, we all just sat there’.

He credits Dud Toit.

May 22, 2024, 17:30

You are lying that Rassie had nothing to say - quite the opposite he absolutely climbs into the team at half time

All PSDT said was all of two lines one of which involved the word ‘bang’

It was in the huddle after Rassie had had his say

You are telling us Rassie had nothing to say - go watch Chasing the Sun 2 and come tell us Rassie had nothing to say

He was scathing

May 22, 2024, 21:50

I’m not lying, I’m quoting Pollard….that apparently was his take. Obviously he feels Erasmus was just babbling. Being scathing probably wasn’t helping, the Boks needed a call to arms which Dud provided, not a hissfyfit from Eluckmiss.

May 22, 2024, 22:21

Bullshit Pollard said nothing of the sort. Rassie’s halftime talk certainly had the desired effect we turned the game and won it

The only observation Pollard made was the fact that the usually very quiet man had something to say

It was Rassie who brought that out in PSDT - he told the team not to be scared

Your take is a load of shit Moz - go watch Chasing the Sun for the facts

May 22, 2024, 23:39

So Dud Toit was scared until Eluckmiss had his hissy fit…sure Dave, go on ingesting the bs intended for morons.

May 23, 2024, 07:23

No PSDT was telling the team not to be ‘bang’

May 23, 2024, 13:01

I think it’s clear from Pollard’s comments….Dud Toit provided the simple gut challenge missing in the Eluckmiss rant. Nonetheless if Steward had simply gone for a deep kick the Poms win.

Back to the string….Eluckmiss has a terrible  non WC record. Starting in 2018 with 2 losses to Wales, a loss to the Bargies….and a loss to England in South Africa (as well as a loss to them at Twickenham). Imagine losing to the Poms in SouthAfrica.

And by 2022 there was little discernible progress with a loss to Wales in South Africa, a loss to Oz who were at their worst….and a 2 out of 4 record in our YE tour.

If we want to be regarded as the AB replacement we have to win proper RCs and dominate the YE tours. And now Eluckmiss is beginning to lose the team he inherited.

May 23, 2024, 13:13

Moffie still trying to discredit 2-time-RWC-winning coach Rassie Erasmus in a vain attempt to try and deflect from all the egg running down his stupid fat face.

LMAO!

Watch the childish old loser put up some quote of mine where I was criticising Rassie before he won us another RWC and I was forced to change my mind about him. It's how Mavis rolls.

May 23, 2024, 13:24

So after France you thought he was a fake, after England you thought he was a fake…..but a 1 point win over a team that played a man down for 40minutes, worth 10 points, was enough to change your mind…,bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahaha.

Here you go:

Oct 26, 2023, 08:16

"& we picked 4 number 9s"

There's some irony there. Like I said earlier, if we win this RWC it'll be despite Rassie, not because of him.

The initial selection of 4 scrumhalves, the decision to exclude Pollard from the original squad, the selection of Am to replace Mapimpi when we didn't use him even once, the 7-1 split for the final, the kick-and-hope game plan . . . all stupid shortsighted decisions made by an egotistical fool trying to prove he's some kind of genius.

Oh well . . . Go Bokke!

May 23, 2024, 13:26

Go Burmeister…..waaaaaaahahaha!

May 23, 2024, 13:37

Bingo!

Who is "Burmeister", Mavis?

May 23, 2024, 15:18

Moz you are speaking utter shit

Go watch Chasing the Sun 2 for a little reality check

Moz you could learn something from Rooi, he was anti Rassie but has acknowledged he got it wrong - huge respect

We can’t say the same for you - your take on Rassie serves only to embarrass you

May 23, 2024, 17:14

The same ‘Rooi’ who was picking Burmester(sic) (sic) (sic) and Rory to win the PGA last week? Nah, I’ll pass.
