The Newcastle Red Bulls have recently confirmed a significant transition in their roster, with 26 players set to leave the club at the season's end. This move is part of a broader strategy to revamp the team, coinciding with the arrival of 21 new players. Notable additions include Hoskins Sotutu, Chris Harris, Raffi Quirke, Rusi Tuima, Benjamin Elizalde, and George Turner, all of whom are expected to bring fresh energy and expertise to the team. The squad overhaul aligns with the introduction of a new coaching team, led by incoming head coach Dan McFarland, with Stephen Jones transitioning from interim to assistant coach alongside Calum MacRae, Micky Ward, Lee Dickson, and Mark Laycock.

The departure list includes players such as Liam Williams and Hame Faiva, who had previously announced their retirement, and Connor Doherty and Callum Hancock, who are set to join CHAMP side Doncaster Knights. Other notable athletes moving on include Elliott Obatoyinbo, Boeta Chamberlain, Freddie Clarke, Jamie Hodgson, Amanaki Mafi, Tom Gordon, and Cameron Neild.

Mid-season recruits Bryn Gordon, Scotland-capped Ben Healy, and Jamie Clark are also concluding their short-term engagements with the club.
