Trump's antics with the Bible have not been seen favourably by members of the Church in the US.
Trump's most loyal fan base is the Christian conservatives that makeup around 40% of the population.
He loses considerably in all other groups, the remaining 60%. (After the riots and Corona, the 60% are not going to give him many votes, or any at all).
People that go to Church ask their pastors and ministers to speak about everyday events such as politics - and these pastors have a strong influence on the attendees.
The Church dogma ideology is filtered down and gives a bias to certain politicians to promote them to Church goers. Trump had their backing in 2016, the silent group. This must be how Beeno was the first one to know about Trump on this board.
However, if Church leaders are not promoting him as much then he will get fewer votes from this 40%.
If the vote was tomorrow Biden should win easily. For Trump to win he needs his 40% to all vote, and ideally not all of the 60% will vote. Trump is keen to get the economy going as that is his other key area. If they both go South, then Trump could get 20% of the votes.
Criticized President Trump after law enforcement officials used rubber bullets, tear gas and officers on horseback to clear out protesters so the president could leave the White House, Lafayette Park to pose with a bible in front of the historic St. Johns' Church, known as the Church of Presidents as every president since James Madison has prayed there.
