As the Sunday Times says Ukraine forces are being overwhelmed. 

Meanwhile it's very clear the Kursk incursion has been a monumental blunder. Thousands of Ukrainian troops have been killed and large number of military assets destroyed. 

Putin has 200,000 well armed troops that could wipe out whatever remain of the Ukrainians in Kursk. Russia has air, missiles dtones artillery  etc superiority. 

These poor Ukrainians are in for a torrid time. All for a silly publicity stunt and a forlorn hope it would strengthen their negotiating position.

It is only a matter of time before we (NATO) approve the use of long-range weapons which would put the Kremlin in striking distance.

Again those numbers are not even remotely close. The Germans lost over 186,000 killed in Barbarossa with another 40,000 missing and over 655,000 wounded. As for captured Germans captured figures given for earlier 1942 after the end of Barbarossa, the battle for Moscow and the Soviet counter offensive the figure stands at 120,000.

Those were real invasios with disastrous conseqquences for their own egimes,   What happened n thiscase it was a raid using 20 troops is NOT an invasion.
