The field is covered by tarpaulins and a photo of Kingsmead looked more like a lake than a  crocket field;

It rained heavily overnight and it is still raining.   There is no indication that the rain would ease and playing today is unlikely.

It has been raining for two days in Riversdale and the rainy `weather normally moves towards Natal.

Why the fuck is Hendricks starting again - he keeps failing has an average of 25 after 20 games Janneman Malan is in the squad - he should be opening with de Kock for fuck sake No doubt Hendricks will make 100 now!!!

Ja Maaikie...sometimes you obviously lose your concentration...I think you get so carried away by the event itself that you forget who is playing who.

(Do you remember when I posted a picture of Frans Steyn just to spur you and you thought it was Bakkies...lol.)

Nevermind Mike we all get old and we do lose it sometimes...we know how passionate you are and you certainly have a lot of credits despite what your opposers think.

These rain reduced games are so unfair to the side batting first. This game had been reduced to 26 overs with SA having already batted a few overs In those before overs the bats would have batted with the mindset of having 50 overs to bat The opposition go in knowing they have 26 overs to set the tempo

Nothing needed dimness - factually the game was abandoned  and even though they played 11 overs nobody took the game seriously since nobody expected it to be completed.

Not before Okkie was skittled by  that world class spinner....Joe Root. Rootie must have extracted an inch of spin, you know how de Ock is allergic to movement of any kind.

Listen dimness - when De Kock was bowled he tried to up the batting rate since there was a clear chance the game would be reduced to a 20 over affair,   A batting strike rate of well over 6 per over would have been required in that case.    De Kock knew exactly what was happening and tried to up the batting rate, so he tried to up the rate.  That is always a problem.   After De Kock went out there was exactly two balls bowled before the rain stopped player.  The game restarted later and another 5 overs bowled with the game be reduced to a 26 overs,  The match was then abandoned as was reported  under the commentary about the conditions on ESPN.

Idiocy  on your part is always in evidence,

The weather was not his fault obviously.
