Still anyone's game with England digging in nicely after some early losses.

Maharaj not asking a single question with his bowling and hardly gets any turn.

Nortje on for his second spell and looking dangerous...

Bavuma goes for a desperate and stupid review while Markram looks bemused at the call...great skipper...doesn't consult his bowler.

Markam also looking more dangerous as a bowler than Maharaj....breaks the partnership of 71.

Finally, Nortje gets Ali to break another big partnership from England.

England not running away with it but not looking too bothered either.

261/5

Bavuma doing well today...

On 60 now

240 more to go with 9 in hand and about 33 overs left RRR7.14

Ticking along nicely now...155/1 needing 188 at RRR7.23

...very doable unless the wobbles set in as is so often the case from this position.

Bavuma on 96...is he actually get a 100?

Oh damn...he got a 100...i guess this secures his captaincy spot for the next decade.

Well done short shit.

...steadying the ship a little now.

If Bavuma and Markram both do well then I'm buying Lotto tickets this week

Miller and Jansen close it out.

Brilliant Miller and Jansen continue to look like he has far more experience than he does.

Jansen's 4 in the second last over took all the pressure off.

Great stuff

Great win for he Proteas but allowing 34 extras in a game is concerning.

18 Wides and 5 pen's is an absolute No, No.

It works out to almost 4 overs extra for the batting side, resulting in 23 pen. runs plus the additional runs scored off those 23 balls that had to be bowled for a second time.

Not sure who was responsible but shocking all the same.

If the last match  was Dussen’s ODI, this was Bavuma’s.  If we sweep does that negate our sweep loss against Oz in the tests?

Yeah, Bavuma held it together well. He wasn't always hitting it very cleanly but was measured throughout.

Markram again took a crucial wicket and got runs. I prefer Linde to Maharaj. On pitches like this one, Maharaj suffers. It was pretty flat in this game. You need a tall flighty spinner or one that really turns it. Markram's flight immediately looked more dangerous than what Maharaj was offering up...and he was rewarded.

Dunno, Maharaj just appeared very easy to knock around :/

Must have been a pleasure to have a guy like Warne. He could turn it enough anywhere and without fail.

We haven’t had a quality spinner since Hugh Tayfield. There is a bit of mystery about a spinner, a bit of the magician….perhaps that just isn’t in the national character.
