But don't hate on him. He didn't select himself. Neither did Boucher to be fair.

It's more to do with our politicians influence.

So the Proteas won the game thanks to Markram and Linde.   Klaaasn did reasonably well - the rest were  supershit       Phehlukwayo did not bowl  - he was so poor in the  first match that they did not let him bowl in the match  -  and he was not required to bat either - his only contribution was a poor effort to stop a four.

Klaasen was really good man. Take your blinkers off.

It is nice to see  Klaasen doing something positive after failing for near to two years and  recently in Pakistan.    Would rather have a better batsman land wicket-keeper like Verreinne in the team than him.       

Just like every other sportsman in South Africa,

If he does well, and quotas allow , he deserves his spot in the team.

When did Klaasen do well?    He was poor in Pakistan and poor in the ODI's against Pakistan in SA,    He suddenly have two games in which his average score was 43 and now suddenly he is the  best choice,    In the two years since 2019 h had one good score and  the rest were all poor.

That for me is unacceptable, but Boucher apaprently support hiss elecion and alsi the seection fo Lubbe - wonder why?         

No Maaik, he wasn't out yesterday, so his average for the 2 matches is 86. Klaasen is much better in the T20's than the ODI's for some odd reason.

Klaasen was superb.

Chip, he's no Kalis, Pollock or Klusener...damn hard acts to follow...not many will be able to come close to live up to that reputations any time soon...and the rest of his team-mates are basically in the same boat. Dark days ahead.

Our team has been so good over so many years, we were spoiled...hard wake-up.
