The roller coaster with our young bats continue. Admittedly Brevis got a peach of a ball, but the comment of hard hands was probably fair. The Proteas are in this one but the batting line up isn’t as deep this time, so Stubbs and Verrynne need to hang in there tomorrow.
Speaking of Verrynne, he really looked clumsy standing up to our new spin heavy attack. Markram dropped a few but indecisive moves to the ball by Verrynne didn’t help. Our fielding fortunes were turned around by a brilliant de Zorzi catch at short leg. He’s having a decent match.
Tomorrow will likely be decisive.
