Apart from the gigantic stuff up of losing to the Dutch again (we are their CWC bunnies), the Proteas look the strongest team in the tournament.

We have good batting depth and all our batsmen have made contributions of some sort so everyone's in decent nick, our bowling is arguably the best in the world and our fielding is - as ever - right up there with the best.

So why can't we win the cricket and rugby World Cups in the same year?

Well . . . because we're the Proteas, that's why.

Dare we hope? Dare I say "Come on Proteas"?

There . . . I just said it . . .

That's 4 centuries in 7 innings for QdK.

He's really bottling it!
